SONYA is the reason for this horrible review. I am appauled at what i just dealt with. After sitting in a drive through for almost a half hour for 2 mcdoubles with extra pickles i got home only to have 1 plain cheeseburger with nothing on it.... didnt think i had to check my bag for such an easy order that took so long. You had a half hour to get a simple order right. So the first word im going to use to describe the employees at this location is incompetant. Id also like to address that poor workmanship is usually due to poor management. With that being said lets address SONYA... after getting home and checking my bags to get in what i thought would be a quick meal before work i was displeased to say the very least. So as anyone would do i decided to call the location and state my complaint to a manager. I had to call 4 times before getting someone to pick up, when someone finally did i asked for the manager and started to explain why i was upset. She continuously tried speaking over me and was trying to put the blame on her employees. Who does that... Once i said that the employees were not to blame but whoevers managing them is the one slipping up she decided to say that she had just gotten there 2 minutes before i called and that this was all the onther managers fault. Someone named mary something. So i continued to try to get my complaint out, and was still being argued with an spoken, so i asked whom i was speaking to and SONYA hung up on me..... thats incredibly disrespectful as i am a manager of a large retail fascility and would absolutely never treat someone that way no matter the issue (you always fix it!!!). Now i didnt have the time to drive all the way back down to that location being on my way to work so i just tried to call back. I called and the phone range off the hook for almost 20 minutes.... that means they deliberately avoided hearing what i had to say. This only frustrated me to the point of calling repetitively until i got someone on the line again. Finally after about 30 minutes a kid picked up. I very calmly asked who the manager was right now and he passed the phone off. I changed my voice ever slightly and once she said hello i said "hello may i ask whos speaking" and THAT is when i FINALLY recieved a name. She replies my name is SONYA whats up. I replied nothing sonya i just wanted to get your name for hanging up on me and avoiding my complaint. She proceded to nervously laugh on the phone and say oh you just called and were talking to someone else. I replied no i actually recognoze your voice and you are exactly who i spoke with. She then very very sarcastically told me to "have a great day" and hang up on me once again. In other words she just gave me a huge FU with a smile. I was never looking for a refund or to have my order fixed, i was just hoping to speak to a manager about the staff at this location picking up the pace and trying a little harder to get the orders right because this is actually about the 4th or 5th time this has happened at this location. At the end of the day i want to leave this review and say i have NEVER been so disrespected at any restaurant in my life and i cannot believe this place is even open with the level of distespect coming from not an employee but again SONYA the MANAGER. Absolutely appauled and i will never be back to this store. Choose very wisely before getting stuck in a half hour wait only to have your order completely butchered and money wasted. After going inside because the drive-thru line was so long...I was waiting for my luke-warm cheeseburger and fries (which took 15 minutes...how was any of it not even warm considering I asked for fries with no salt which normally means piping hot? And the guy in front of me had been waiting so long he stormed out the door after getting his meal..along with 2 other people complaining about their meals...one that had to gather her toddler, diaper bag...while toting a baby on her chest to go back to the counter for a missing item while she had a table number) when a woman walked in that had a complaint about her order she had gotten in the drive-thru...
She had asked for a double-burger with only meat and bacon and it had cheese on it. The manager apologized and ordered it again with the cook. It was handed to her and the manager asked her to double-check it again (like she knew it was going to be wrong again) and there was the cheese again. The manager reminded the cook she had done it again...and the cook mumbled a bunch of words of denial and scurried away. The manager had to confront her with the burger and she kept telling her 'no queso' (spanish is definitely not the manager's first language but she was trying) and said to the guest "it's a language barrier"...said 'here's a pie for your inconvenience' and immediately thru the hamburger in the trash. People are starving and this burger had barely been in the wrapper 30 seconds and she didn't even offer it to the guest!! Someone in her car may have wanted it! I saw another guest give me a hard stare like "I would have taken that".
The 3rd time they got it right and the guest left. Frustrated...I think partly because it looked like she was in her pj's and had NO intentions of going inside to begin with...
It was in that moment I realized I would never go there again! EVERY-SINGLE-TIME I've been there it's been slow and/or rude service (they barely even acknowledge you, chat with friends and you stand at the register for several minutes before they even getting to place an order...you can forget about a greeting). Turtle type speed for food (never faster than 10 minutes and I've been late to work several times...I keep holding out hope their service will be like other McDonald's), cold hamburgers, salted fries when I've asked for unsalted even after having to move to a special parking spot to wait for it...even food put on the counter without the number being called...and then finding out it was mine without knowing because it was in a bag...and this has happened more than once. I only go inside because the drive-thru is always, always slow. I would never go there but it's the only convenient one on my way.
No more! I'm done! And I'll let everyone I know not...
Read moreTeam members, manager included, and most especially, speak to fast. I'm hard of hearing and read lips. If you are not looking at me, speak in normal tone, and not rapid, nor slowly, I would have appreciated the interaction much more.
I ordered 2 fries, only received one, did not notice until I was back home.
I was going to order via mobile app from parking lot but kept getting error stating my connection was not present check my wyfri.
I shut my wifi off and attempted using my cell phone data, which connected to other http addresses McDonald's connection was still giving same error. Went into store to use kiosk and you had no choice other than to use the kiosk, which was not working. I tried to get an employee to assist only to be redirected to kiosk by an employee, and a manager as well told me the same thing. When I tried to tell the kiosk wasn't taking my order they walked away from the counter and myself. I had to say, excuse me, in a slightly raised tone to get them to stop and listen to me and possibly help out... Ugh... Come on folks, it's not rocket science, listen to your customers and help them out please. They got it back online , next it would not accept cash payment... I still had to go to counter to pay for my order... Not terribly efficient, had to reenter my order.
Ridiculous, its now been 20 min to place my simple order....
Folks, this is specifically to the employees, listen carefully please .. If you have not figured it out any role considered not essential at your location is scheduled for replacement in the near future. Yes, if you are just taking an order you will be considered non essential.
The system was a bit messed up on my recent visit, it will be cleared up quickly, AI is coming after your jobs and it is the lack of courteous, friendly, smiling employees that expect $15 dollars an hour and don't want to readily assist any customers. Shame in your poor service, and lack of leadership at this location during my experience this morning.
Based on my employee and manager during my visit, I will be looking forward to the AI system being fully functional to and the humans leaving. There is not one single roll that AI will not be able to replace. Good luck. Until then I don't plan on going back to this...
