Like anything the people make the experience. That's why so many people go to a nationally branded chains of coffee shops, cus if the coffee stinks it must be the people. When you don't have to sacrifice either by having top level coffee and top level people that's also LOCAL wouldn't you want to go there instead?! I would and my BARista's at the convention center press are the absolute best. So fortunate to daily chat with the coolest people while drinking some amazing coffee. If you're here visiting for a convention or just downtown get some extra of everything. Energy from the coffee and kindness from the people.

**5 stars – Must-visit in Downtown Phoenix** Best coffee shop in the area—small-batch roasts are bold, smooth, and full of flavor. The Twitch Espresso and Early Edition blends stood out. Staff are incredibly friendly and fast even at peak times. The café is bright and inviting—with great seating, pastries and empanadas that pair perfectly with coffee. Multiple downtown locations make it easy to stop in wherever you are. Easily my go‑to spot whenever I’m in Phoenix.

Really good coffee; and I mean COFFEE. Has rich and creamy coffee taste regardless of the sweetener. Does not feel like you’re drinking just steamed, flavored milk. Also, the croissants!!?? Wow. Best croissant i’ve ever had. I guess they have a small selection from a known pastry chef in the PHX area. For reference I got the 8oz honey cinnamon latte with oat-milk, steamed extra hot. Comes with 2 shots of espresso. Original croissant

Phenomenal coffee. Got a half-caff hot latte. The roast(s) were so smooth and velvety, saturated with flavor and not much bitterness. I'd place this latte near the top of my list for best balance and flavor. The barista asked if I was going to need sweetener and when I said yes, she offered to put the sweetener at the bottom during the making process, which I love, but always hesitate to ask for because I know it is extra work on their behalf. I noticed that she took care to dissolve the sugar prior to pouring foam. What excellent service! Took my coffee to go, but the shop was very clean and tidy and I would have happily stayed if I had thought to...
