Another edit: 8/18/25 Ran down to grab a burger after work. Got there about 4:30 pm. One other customer in the place, waiting for an order. One employee mopping a section of floor, 2 others back in the kitchen. Every one of them saw me come in, all of them made eye contact. Girl mopping keeps mopping. Both people in the kitchen disappeared. Girl mopping finishes mopping, and goes to bagging orders for delivery, even though there was nobody there to pick them up. After standing there for 7 minutes, I left, and went next door to Potbelly. Had a delicious meatball sub... I like Smashburger's food, but I'm done with this store. Too many other places around that have decent service.
Stopped in after work today, April 27th 1:30pm, because i was in the mood for an Arizona. Went in, and there were two couples ahead of me. The front couple got their order taken about 5 minutes after I walked in. The couple in front of me stood there another 15 minutes, while the young lady working the register did everything she possible could, to avoid taking their order. Someone else came in behind me. Cashier was swapping ketchup bottles on tables, waiting for food that wasn't even done yet for grubhub orders, moving stuff around for no reason. The people in front of me finally left. The guy behind me walked out. I stood there for another few minutes, while she was waiting at the counter for food that wasn't even done yet. Then she pulls out her phone, and I turned around and walked out. Went over to Potbelly, and got a Steakhouse Beef, and was out in 5 minutes. In the span of 20 minutes, I saw one couple get their order taken, and 5 people walk out frustrated. Youngish woman, longish dark hair, braided. She was intentionally ignoring customers, and ran off 5 people. I've been coming in this shop for three years, since I moved to this neighborhood, and I've always been happy with the food, and the service. I'll definitely be back, but I'll wait long enough that I figure management has observed this young woman enough to let her go.

Read moreRather disappointing visit but given the fact that this chain seems to be headed for closure (2 of the closest locations have closed permanently in the last two months) probably not surprising. A friend wanted to try the remaining open location so we came to this one. While the cashier was taking my friend's order he was interrupted by someone in the back asking about a previous order. First off, it's rather rude to interrupt someone taking a customer order. Second, don't they use computers to transmit the order to the back? Perhaps if they stopped interrupting the cashier the orders would be correct. After giving my order I walked to the table my friend was at and noticed several dirty tables on the way. This seemed to be a regular issue at the other Smashburger. When my friend's order arrived the wait staff took his number despite the fact that they hadn't brought his whole order (uh, how are they going to know what belongs to him now?) and then they dropped off my order and also took my number (same deal here). Plus, the food that was brought was not my order, so I had to go back to the register with it. While I was waiting for the correct food to arrive a member of the wait staff was wandering around with a vanilla shake looking lost. I mentioned my (now missing) number but she shook her head and after wandering a bit more she ended up going back to the register area. Hmm, might have been a little easier to identify the correct table if they left the original number there until the order was complete. Read moreI had to review this Awesome Smashburger and give them 5 stars for being so amazing and polite. I had place an uber order to them for myself and there was no area on my uber eats menu to request ketchup. So I called over and they never put me on hold(which is totally fine and understandable if they had) but the woman that answered was super polite and said, "no problem, I'll make sure you get plenty of ketchup ". I was really pleased at how well I was treated by her and how fast she found my order and hooked me up with my ketchup! Thank you for the Perfect Customer Service! Ps. I did not think to ask the young lady for her name. Probably gets asked enough by creepers but if the owner sees this. I called on Sat 1/14/2023 @ 920pm Please see that she gets recognized for performing Perfect Customer Service! You don't find this often anymore. Her tone, attitude friendliness and the positive response at getting the ketchup into my order was so perfect! So much, that I jumped on google to post a review! Thank you to this young woman for providing Customer service that a totally put me in a very happy mood for the rest of my night. You think that a person's attitude couldn't affect a customer's mood?
