My boyfriend found this place on Instagram and he took me there on Saturday. we went around 1pm, found parking across the street ( you have to pay here its $20 to park for 3 hours) it's a gray building on the right. there's only 1 way in and out. once you get to the entrance, there's a mini mart on the left and dessert shop on the right. you walk a bit in, and it opens up to a large food court type of deal. I'm not sure if any one under 21 is allowed. I only saw adults. there's 2 full bars with very impressive drinks and cocktails. there's a bagel/ hamburger place that seemed to be super popular. a hawaiin eatery, tacos , pizza, and a smoothie place. in the middle section, there is lots of picnic tables, circular tables, and a corn hole game if you wanted to play. also there was a DJ on the opposite site( closer to the front entrance) I decided to get the hawaiin food( chicken katsu with sauce, white rice and macaroni. my boyfriend got the pizza. it took about 10 mins for my food to cook, but when I got it was hot and very packed. lots of chicken on a bed of white rice, and on side more white rice and the macaroni. the food was ok, despite the chicken having been fried, there was no flavor to it. the sauce gave it a little bit. I finished it because I was hungry. the pizza, according to the boyfriend said it was good and it didn't upset his stomach which is a win win. for dessert we got the smoothies. they were very fruity and thick.( pictured below along with the description of said drinks) the atmosphere was neat, chill, no one acted dumb so that was nice. I'd...
Read moreThe Churchill is a very cool food, drink, and local shopping space. At any time of year, you'll find a covered area with lots of seating surrounded by local vendors. There are two bars that are mainstays in the Churchill property, but in any of the nooks and corners of the property you'll find some good eats or cool shopping to be had (and I've likely reviewed them before)! If you and your crew are looking for a place that isn't quiet but isn't insanely loud, this is a great stop. You will not likely lose your voice while talking to someone next to you all night like you can at some venues. But, there are exceptions! The Churchill hosts really cool events throughout the year—I've seen Bad n Boozy Bingo nights on first Tuesdays, whiskey education and tasting, corn hole tournaments, and other cool night events. Then, in the cooler months, daytimes, and weekdays you'll find the Churchill hosting sidewalk markets, yoga (in the middle), and other unique events. There's a lot of action to distract you in this area of Downtown, but if you haven't checked out Chruchill, you're missing out! Swing by (at almost) any time and...
Read moreI’m a native of Arizona and love to get around the neighborhood from where I live. My wife and I stumbled upon this place after watching some YouTube video about container buildings. We stopped here on an early Saturday morning around 10:30AM. One main bar, food shops and some stores and the music was already popping. We grabbed some beers from The Brill Line and a pizza from Freak Bros. and the rest was a blur. The beers were strong and fresh, the food was delicious and fresh. The architecture and the vibe of this place is truly amazing for the lot size. Lots of cool people and friends to be made. This place is dog friendly so there were lots of adorable dogs as well. Great for a first date, date with your wife or just to come alone to chill and relax. We will be coming back to drink again and bring are doggies to enjoy...
