Ordered 3 food items here: Wings get a B+. They're a bit on the well-done side, so depending on your preferences, you might find them too dry, but I personally like very crispy, well-fried wings, so I enjoyed these quite a bit. The dipping sauces that came with them were decent but not particularly memorable. Fries get an A. They were served at the peak of freshness and piping hot and were the perfect balance of having a nice crispy exterior with a soft fluffy interior. They had your basic salt seasoning which was slightly on the underseasoned side but that's OK -- easier to add salt to a dish than to remove it, so not a big deal. Pizza gets a D. Probably the worst restaurant pizza I've had in over 10 years. It was overcooked (see pic). Big swaths of cheese were burnt, the toppings were a bit desiccated, and the crust was as crunchy and dry as a cracker. It was unpleasant to eat and quite the disappointment. Service was lackluster and apathetic. The fries that were supposed to come with the wings were forgotten and we had to remind them (that's why the fries were so fresh -- cuz they were forgotten and the kitchen had to whip them up real quick). We asked for water with some lemon slices, and my friend had to ask twice and the lemon was still forgotten, so I had to ask a third time for them to finally arrive. Lastly, our waitress also forgot to bring us parmesan, even though she had asked us earlier if we wanted to top the pizza with parmesan and we said yes. So I had to get up yet again and flag a waitress to bring another missing item. Overall, I felt like service was the last thing on the staff's mind on this particular visit. If I had to sum up my experience on this visit, it would be a resounding meh.

We called to place an order but then quickly had a change of mind because they were closing in 30 min… the server had talked us into ordering insisting to order, that it was really fine to order. We promised a hefty gratuity for late order.. we ordered the cheese steak sandwich and 24 wings. We picked up the order, thanked server a million times, paid, gave $40 tip and went home to eat… i grew up in the neighborhood and I even worked here for 3 months, so I know what they’re foods supposed to look like.. After taking two bites of the sandwich, my excitement for the food went from drooling from the mouth to puking out my mouth!! whatever they gave was not Uncle Sams! The meat was chewy and not throughly cooked and the wings were watery.. i dont know how they got like that but it was just disgusting and I already know how management would react to this since I worked with them so I didn’t even bother calling them and letting them know. Take a look for yourselves..

I saw this place listed as a candidate for the New Times "Best of" in the pizza category. So, I had to give it a try. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. A casual family friendly place with a small bar and several TV's, all playing a sporting event. The menu is good Ol' American fare, mostly East coast influenced. We tried the staples of East coast favorites: pizza, wings, and an Italian Hoagie. The wings were perfectly crispy with a perfect amount of sauce. Their "Suicide" sauce was a great blend of crushed red pepper flakes and black peppercorns. The pizza was pretty damn good. A very dense pizza with lots, and lots, of cheese. We would have preferred a bit less cheese. But it was good. The Hoagie, the Italian Special, was impressive and exactly what I would get from an East coast sub. This place is really great. Affordable menu with great service. We'll be heading back to try more from their menu.

I wouldn't even give it that except for the fact my server was a doll and took very good care of us. My fiancee myself and my 13 year old son sat down to enjoy a nice quiet little meal together though that was almost or should I say was impossible. Neither myself or my fiancee could even finish our food not because the food was bad it was delicious but because the gentleman by the name of Bobby who was the cashier also trying to play manager role was talking so and appropriately rudely to his fellow employees. Even if they what is turn the televisions volume up his voice could have been hurt in the parking lot his comments and remarks to all the employees that were working this evening were absolutely repulsive. To ask the prices that you do is understandable if the atmosphere you eat them in is as well. But again that wasn't the case paying even $5 for that meal is absolutely sick to me when I felt as though we were sitting in the middle a reality show or should I say Jerry Springer. This Bobby gentleman continue to ask the other workers what they were doing if they were working nothing was getting done cuz he was doing it all and quite frankly know he was doing absolutely nothing other than exercising has flabby Jar full of venomous poison words I'm sorry but to take such wonderful staff members and such a title as Uncle Sam's, I would pray and Hope that you would want to keep the reputation it's had for many years alive of great food great service for familys . Anyhow I could go on for days the main point is is that you have one man who goes by the name of Bobby destroying your the reputation of the name Uncle Sam's he is taking a wonderful family-oriented atmosphere and turning it dark uncomfortable and some more people don't want to be. His words he spoke or absolutely disgusting the nicest thing he stated this evening was as we walked out very unhappy he said hope you have a good night with a shity smile on his face. A few servers said that this is not the first time people have complained of this matter the owner just refuses to do anything. So I will do my best to get more of the word out it is very sickening to think that you guys staff people so young and beautiful and allow a single person to mistreat verbally abused them the way he does. I hope not only you let go of Bobby but you Pat every single one of your servers on the back and let them know they've done a good job not just for that evening or that month but for putting up with that man s*. For as Long as they had too. I pray the owner Brett does something and does it now! Bobby needs...

This place is not friendly to Uber Eats at all. They were very poorly prepared for Super Bowl. Only restaurant I literally had/have ever had to stand in line to wait and get the order. Time after that I went in, I had a 15 minute drive to get there and food was still not ready and I waited 15 minutes in the restaurant to get my delivery making a total of 30 minutes. Where the female manager came up and told the cashier to put a 10 minute hold on Uber’s. Like seriously? You guys need to learn how the app works because as soon as the customer places their order, we are immediately sent towards the restaurant. So that means the longer we wait there, the more of my time and money you are killing. This last time I went, I called ahead to ask if my order would be ready by the time I got there in 7 minutes, and Lexis told me yes. When I get there, I tell Lexis that I’m there to pick up the order, and she says nothing to me. I then watch the manger try and ask her what I’m waiting on then he finally asks me so I tell him for Uber and she tells HIM that the order isn’t ready. Thanks for communicating with ME! This restaurant seems to not realize that I could also be a customer of theirs, but after my horrible experiences here, I never care to spend my hard earned money at Uncle Sams.

UPDATE: Just received a lovely (Sarcasm) call from Uncle Sams on my personal phone. A man who immediately rushed to asking why the bad review with great attitude in his voice. Told him because of the long wait every time and received a response of “It was only 25 seconds!” Then told him that it was for poor attitude tonight. Which he clearly showed he has as well. Also told him wouldn’t lie on here and again with attitude said he’d look into it. Clearly was full of horse manure by the way he said it. No...

Stepping into Uncle Sam’s is like going back in time or walking onto the set of Stranger Things. Aside from the flatscreen televisions, you’d really think you were back in the 1980’s. Cushions sank REAL deep as we slinked into our booth. I’m a tall guy, and I felt like a toddler with how high the table top was.

Let’s begin with the menu. My God. It’s massive. And to be clear, that’s not a positive thing. With over 150 items, loads of fine print, confusing sizes and descriptions, it was more of a hot mess than my steak sandwich( more on that later). The menu is in desperate need of simplification and tidying up. It’s not a good sign when your waitress has to interpret the menu for you...should be clear, concise, and creative. This menu had none of that.

Food. My steak sandwich arrived in a paper-lined plastic basket. Having attempted, and failed, to lift my sandwich with my hands, I was quite grateful for the fork and knife. However, after two bites, I noticed the paper lining was mushy and torn, and finding its way onto my fork as a stowaway amid the mounds of steak and cheese. Delicious.

Truth be told, the sandwich was alright. Beef and cheese were great. Mushrooms are canned (bleh), and I had to request lettuce and tomato as add-ons 🤔. No mayo. No sauce of any kind. Just a big, hot mess of a sandwich. The wings were dry and over cooked. Very little sauce on them. Fries, like everything else, come with an additional fee.

I didn’t feel like I got ripped off. The portions were plentiful. It’s a time capsule, a potentially fun experience. I didn’t have my hopes set high for a Tuesday night at 7pm, but I still felt let down. I left feeling full, amused, but reluctant to ever come back. Uncle Sam was regrettably unconvincing in his...
