Lovely little restaurant near PPG arena. The staff were friendly, and the place was very clean. However, the food was, unfortunately, below average.
I ordered the chicken fried rice. The rice itself was decent but was overpowered by the amount of onion and sprouts in it. Other fried rice I've had usually has peas, eggs, or corn--any of which would have made it much better. The chicken though was not good at all. It was flavorless, fatty, and gummy.
My girlfriend ordered the General Tso's. The portion size was massive. The white rice it came with was fantastic, as was the broccoli on the side. The sauce was great, but much more vinegary than other General Tso's I've had before. As with the fried rice, the chicken was, again, not good. Over half the pieces were nothing but chewy, sinew. This meant that most of the meal was nearly inedible.
Overall, the restaurant has lots of potential and may serve some great dishes. However, the two things we ordered were simply not good. This could mostly have been remedied by just using better quality chicken.

Read moreOrdered from here earlier this week for my work, as it is one of the few Chinese deliveries in the area. I've always thought the food was average, but was cheap and quick. When I called in, the woman who was taking the order got confused and kept putting us on hold. Eventually I asked if it we be easier to order online, as it was a larger order 2 of the websites listed that it was not accepting new orders until I found one that did (which I will never use again thanks to their terrible customer service). We placed a total of 6 order with 1 of the orders clearly marked with an allergy. 5 of the orders were wrong. I called them to fix it and they insisted that we come in, even though it was their mistake. I made it clear we were not able to come in, as we were about to start a meeting. The woman answering the phone hung up on me on 3 separate calls. Eventually I got someone and they were supposed to deliver one order of plain fried rice to replace the order with the allergy and it was still wrong. Just horrible customer...
Read morePittsburgh, we have another racist restaurant on Fifth Ave, Uptown. After work on 7/21/23, I didn't want to cook so I went to China Wok for Chicken Mei Fun, I was in line nobody was behind me then all of a sudden this white girl comes up beside me and shows the cashier her order on her phone and says do you have this like I wasn't before her and then I moved over so that she couldn't go ahead of me and this racist cashier after making eye contact with each other gives this ignorant white girl her food before me. I did not want to stoop to their level and become a KAREN. So, I took my food and informed the cashier after I left that she just lost a customer, and I did not appreciate what she did. If my favorite Chinese restaurant China Town Inn sold this, I wouldn't even step foot in there because other food that I have tasted there is nasty. AFRICAN AMERICAN/BLACK PEOPLE MATTER WHETHER YOU BELIEVE...
