Wanted to try a new place for lunch away from the office. This place was full and the menu looked good. I stepped up and ordered the mixed platter with chicken shawarma, lamb gyro meat and rice and green beans. They helped use a sauce with not garlic as I had a meetin later in the afternoon. The lunch box gets ready quick, the owner handled the payment, they do charge a bit more for CC so ended up using cash to save on the CC fee which is passed onto the Customer. Found a table near the window, also got a cup for water which was nice of them to provide. The place kept getting busier which is a good sign that there are loyal Customers. I really enjoyed the lamb gyro meat and the green beans. The chicken shawarma was dry and I found it hard to finish, unfortunately had to throw half away. But overall they give you a large pirtion of food, I did double check and the server confirmed the meat was halal. I may go back and try the lamb gyro next time. That seemed to be a good option.

I work part-time in the evenings downtown and I've passed by this place many times during their off hours. Today I found myself in the area at lunchtime and was finally able to try them out. I was very impressed! The chicken shawarma pita sandwich I had was delicious! It's kind of like a burrito that's made with a pita instead of a tortilla, filled with shawarma of course. The hummus was tasty, too! The dining room is comfortable and spacious, but like any good city lunch spot, it can get pretty crowded and noisy during the lunch rush. I only wish they were open later so I could patronize more often!

Really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The family (that owns this restaurant) was very nice to us and the food was fantastic. In fact, I happened to come in when they just finished a fresh batch of grape leaf rice wraps, which they were kind enough to offer me a sample of. Fantastic! My son and I shared a Shawarma platter, with sides of rice and falafel, all of which were fresh and tasted great! I also appreciated the fact that this restaurant was very clean. Finally, I was pleasantly surprised with how early they opened. The bottom line is that I highly recommend this place!!!

Yesterday, I had flalfal wrap. The flalfels were very delicious, textured correctly, and were the saving grace of the lunch. Being a vegetarian, I didn't like the fact that they were warming pita bread right behind swarma and touching the swarma meat. For a vegetarian such as me, it is a big no. Since they had no alternate means of heating the pita bread, I have to do with the cold one. Regarding filling in the wrap, it was also not so encouraging. They had lettuce and lots of cucumber pickles versus various cut vegetables they had on display. They were sadly missing from the wrap. In closing, i would say that I would go there just to have flafels without pitabread and...
