Looking for a spot that had some scrumptious enchiladas, But in the Plano area it’s been a hit and miss saga. I stopped here because it was close and the reviews were good, but I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been here before and so here I stood. I stood at this door of El Noa Noa and walked right in. The atmosphere was fun and inviting so thus far, it’s a win win. We were happily greeted then taken to our seat. I was so ready to dig in and eat, drink, repeat. Okay, so chips and salsa has definitely become a lost art. But lemme tell you, at El Noa Noa, the chips were fresh and the salsa bursting with flavor so we are off to a great start. Of course I came to get the enchiladas and I was sure to make that clear. The server was the best, so sweet and personable, she was a dear. The order was taken and not long after the food came right out. I took the first bite and no lie, I wanted to give out a shout. When I say the food was so fresh and flavorful I took a bite after another. This food was so good it made me want to slap my mother! (FYI..I would never slap my mother) I finished my plate, yes, I ate the whole thing. So without a doubt I have placed El Noa Noa as the salsa and enchilada king. As my sister and I sat and waited for the check, unbeknownst to us another gift was on its way to the deck. As we sat and talked the waitress came by and dropped off a treat. She said welcome to our place and brought two complimentary Sopaipilla for a sweet treat to eat. I’ve had Sopaipilla before but this was definitely high on the list. It makes me a little nervous to go into a restaurant I've never been to before and be the ONLY people there except for the waitress and one bus boy (I think he was the bus boy). Anyway, because this place had such good reviews, my husband and I decided to stay. It was about 4:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon, which I know is early for dinner but still, I would have expected someone to at least come in while we were there, but no one did. My concern was that maybe they weren't doing enough business to keep their food fresh but that wasn't the case at all. My husband ordered sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and a side of crispy meat tacos, and I ordered sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. The food was super fresh! The chicken in the enchiladas was generous and so tender - I don't know how they kept it so tender like that but it was nice size pieces of all white meat. My husband said the tacos were extremely fresh too - the lettuce and tomatoes were crispy and ripe. Very sad that no one else was there to enjoy the food too. The waitress was very friendly and told us about their upcoming specials for the week including the entertainment that would be there later in the week and on the weekend. We will definitely be back and I hope this review will help generate some more business for them because the food we had was excellent. The only thing I feel could be improved on is their tortilla chips; they were a little on the greasy side, but certainly not so bad that we couldn't eat them. Otherwise, go check them out...

I came to visit this restaurant because I redeemed my toll rewards this restaurant was offering. It was for buy one entree and get the second one 50% off. When I presented my confirmation to the waitress she tried to give me every excuse in the book why she couldn't use it and said it was because of her boss who was not even there. First, she said that it needed to be printed on paper, which I don't know what needs to be paper in 2025, everything's mostly on phones. Then she said something about not being able to view the code even though it was right at the top, and then she asked about the expiration date which was also at the top. She then said she was going to call her boss and then came back and said she needed to take a picture of my confirmation and send it to her boss. After all of that then the reward was honored. The fact that it took all of that is completely ridiculous to me. I don't know if it was because they just didn't want to honor the reward that they offer, or if they just didn't trust me specifically. But either way I did not appreciate how that situation went down. The food was okay, but I also want to point out that they will charge extra for using a credit card, which is stupid, and they do also charge a alcohol fee, and food fee. I don't know what this restaurant has going on but like I said I will not be back...
