McDonald's — Restaurant in Plano

App deals don't work about 1/3 of the time. I just went through drive thru and had the deal pulled up on app. When I got to window and clicked button to redeem, it wouldn't pull up (happens multiple times every week). I asked if she could manually enter and she just stood there. I showed her the app that wasn't working and about 2 minutes later(after holding up the drive thru) she said she took care of it and gave me my total $4.97 for a sausage biscuit, hash browns and iced coffee that should have been $.99. I order the same thing multiple times/will. Total should have been around $3 instead I paid 66% more than I was supposed to. When will this store get their act together? I'm tired of paying more than I have to, tired of bad service and tired of ridiculously long lines. Went in for breakfast 6/9/19 around 9:00a.m. after a bike ride. Upon entering there were at least 3 people ahead of me at the ordering kiosk and none in the actual line. I walked up to the lady at the register, who was just looking around at everyone, and politely asked if she could take my order. She quickly responded that the lady at the kiosk could take my order. I told her there are 3 people at the kiosk already (which she could clearly see as it was only 6 ft away) and asked if she could just do it... she just looked over at the manager(s) and back at me with a blank look. I looked over at the manager(s) then back at her and told her never mind I would take my business elsewhere. I proceeded to bike to the nearest McDonald's at Custer/15th, about 10 minutes away, where I found an actual person taking orders at the register and no ridiculous kiosk. My friends and family will not be returning to this particular restaurant near downtown Plano until management and staff have been properly addressed and trained on customer service. (Not holding my breath as customer service has been bad for a couple years at least). Also please advise why there would be someone working the kiosk and no one working the registers during this busy time on a Saturday morning. I go to this McDonald's for coffee and sometimes breakfast only sausage McMuffin. depends on who is taking your order will determine on my experience. last experience with the same lady thats always rude took my order the last time I went through drive-through, I was waiting for a few minutes two cars next to me pull up in drive-through #2 after me and they take there orders before mine, OK no big deal. I order my coffee and ask the lady to make sure I get my specific amount of creamer and sugar and I never get it and I was letting her know to please make sure I get the specific amount that I like and she cut me off and said what else with a big attitude.she very rude the same lady girl whatever. My coworker also has had many issues with the same person. When he goes picks up coffee for us I'm drinking the coffee how I like it not how you like it so please give me the amount of creamer and sugar I asked for. And depending on what day it is or who made it sometimes it's ok most of the time it's a water down but it's the most convenient place to go get coffee so go with it. Same thing with the ketchup I asked for extra ketchup they give you one they don't give you napkins they don't give you the straw to stir the coffee they even gave me spoiled creamer what time. On 06/22/2023 I ordered nuggets meal and husband ordered some burger meal.. we got the large meal instead of standard medium meal we thought that was weird. The managers were glancing at us as we ordered and so was the employee by the window...sat down to dine in and saw about a dozen dead 🪰flies by the window that's between the playground and dining area 😳 so we moved to a table without a window and got our food right away. The food was great hot, and everything was in it as in ketchup, bbq, and napkins; we ate. As we were leaving 💔 i told my husband it was weird that there weren't that many ppl in the dining area. It was us and one more guy when 6 months ago i could have sworn there would be a lot of people eating for rush hour 6pm. (My husband and I went on a weight loss journey late January of this year). Anywho, as my hubby refilled his water cup 🥤 the manager im assuming since he was wearing a white tucked in shirt was mopping by the coke machine, and it smelled of strong URINE.. my opinion is that they mopped the bathroom and did not change the water in mop bucket and with same water mopped dining area 🤔 😐. Floor was sticky 😑. Decide to read the reviews and im glad i did.
