Been coming here with my family since I was a little kid for decades.Total bill was $46 Long story short I ordered a cheeseburger but wanted to make it a double. Fine with paying more but as I received the check it was like 8.50 dollars more for an extra patty. I’m okay with paying 2-3 or even 4 dollars more for an extra patty but not almost $9 more. Go up front to pay and express my concern with how much I was being charged in the nicest and most respectful way possible. Our waitress I guess took offense to that and looked annoyed and I thanked her for working on it and she didn’t respond and ignored me. Was hearing them discuss that another patty should be $3.50. Then come to find our waitress tells me it’s now $5 for the patty and she went out of her way to charge me $4 for 3 corn tortillas. My bill now came out to $47.50!!!! She purposely made it a $1.50 more. It’s as if her ego got in the way and she wanted to make sure she got a last laugh approach. I called over the phone and talked to “manager” and was told I shouldn’t have been charged for the 3 lousy corn tortillas. Felt like such a weird slap in the face and passive aggressive behavior from the waitress as I simply and kindly questioned being charged almost $9 for a patty. I hope the owner sees this and tries to truly rectify the situation. It was just such a truly bad way to handle business and ruin an almost 20 year customers loyalty. Wish I remembered the waitresses name. Also took the waitress about 15 minutes to even greet us as we sat at the table. My name is Stephen and the total was $47.24 on...

We go here probably 4-5 times a week for breakfast. We love it ! What we love about the most is the friendly wait staff . They really take care of you. Couple of things that we wish that they would do , ( you can’t change everything about a restaurant) , but I wish they would make the coffee a little bit stronger because sometimes it has that watery taste to it . And for your bread choice they should give the choice of having French toast even if it’s just one piece. Because that’s what my husband likes to get so we end up having to pay almost 7 dollars for French toast on the side along with everything else so his meal is usually about $30.00 And mines about $ 11.00 But of course that’s not the restaurants fault. my husband loves their pork chops and of course it comes with eggs and potatoes and your choice of bread. But my husband always adds a glass of milk and he loves grits so he adds those also - and basically they just do not allow you to substitute anything other than biscuits and gravy pancakes or toast. But we still love this place and we still come here because everybody is friendly and the food...

We’ve been customers since the 1980s Usually go in 2-3 times a month. Today’s visit was quite poor. First the person seating us just pointed to a table (over there) was the only comment. We sat down at the table and promptly were asked if we wanted anything to drink. We told her what we wanted and she went off somewhere. Later a server came to take our order and left. 10 minutes passed and our drinks finally showed up. Long story short, we finally saw the order taker and had to flag her down and ask about our order since it had been 35 minutes and she said she would go check on it. That was the last time we saw her. 10 minutes later We got up to leave and was met by another person that ask if the order she was holding was ours. She only had 1/2 of the order, we said we’re going to leave now because we were tired of seeing other customers come in and get served while we just sat there. We mentioned it to the person that takes the payments on our way out and all we got was a shoulder shrug. I don’t know if we will ever...

We requested a booth. We were taken to the only booth across the spacious dining area that had torn upholstery despite more than 15 (yes, I counted ' em) empty booths along the way. Don't know the reason but clearly demonstrated the attitude of the person to offer a worthy experience to a First-Time diner. The service was very, very good - not possible to even nit-pick. Very hardworking team of personnel - each person performing the assigned duties flawlessly. The food had no distinctive touch. After all, when requesting tomatoes for sides one is served with two very thin slices of a large tomato. The hash browns were neither brown nor golden. Wonder why the rush when the place was not busy. The menu choices were myopic for those with dietary challenges. Don't need rationalization when there are competitive alternatives elsewhere. The menu has not changed (just guessing) in years and probably works well for its regular patrons. There is a secluded dining area which looked cozy with six-plus tables for group meetings.

So very disappointed. Came in for breakfast on a Sunday and it was a super cute hole in the wall breakfast diner feel! However... The food was about as bad as it could be. I ordered the chopped steak and eggs... I don't know why she asked how I wanted it cooked because what I got was a burger patty. It wasn't bad enough that it was an overcooked frozen burger patty .. it was totally bland/unseasoned. The home fries were the worst I think I've ever had to be honest... Also completely unseasoned and chopped to different sizes so as to overcook some and be mushy. The biscuit was clealy a frozen one as well and barely a biscuit in that it didn't have buttery/flaky layers and was more of a roll. The eggs were actually okay. These spots you kinda expect a certain level of friendly charm in the service, and it was just not. Not bad service, just not a friendly, local vibe. With the prices matching all the more trendy/hip breakfast spots ... This place is definitely NOT worth the money

After moving from Mansfield we've been trying to find a new breakfast place and this one also falls Short. I got the chicken fried steak labed best in Plano and if thats true its Sad. It lacks flavor, it's large but thin, the mashed potatoes is an ice-cream scoop and they are just okay. They also offer applesauce as a side which my son loved. My husband got the nachos (a starter) which came out last and lacked flavor as well as the meat being grossly overcooked and black. Came with jalapeño corn bread which is the worst I ever had it's sooooooo dry all it does is crumble and has no flavor, and the jalapeños inside tasted sweet. Overall the food is meh, had to ask for someone to come refill tea. Some of the staff doesn't speak English so trying to get a booth for my family was hard.
