⭐☆☆☆☆ Disgusting and Dangerous – Red-Eyed Fruit Flies in My Sandwich
I ordered a 12” Turkey Sub through Uber Eats from this Subway location (2400 K Ave, Plano), and after a few bites, I noticed what I thought was oregano on my sandwich. It wasn’t. It was red-eyed fruit flies — and I had already eaten some before realizing it. I immediately vomited. Taking a bite out of flies is like taking a bite out of everywhere that they have been. Flies are filthy.
I’m a licensed exterminator, and I can positively identify these insects. In my professional opinion, the flies were most likely dead and came from a contaminated red wine vinegar bottle used to season the sandwich. While it may have come from any of subways sandwich building components it’s still a major health risk.
I tried calling the store, but the number listed online, and on their website, and on the receipt was invalid. I also tried emailing info@subway but their email was invalid. This isn’t about being upset — it’s about public safety. If this happened to me, it could happen to anyone.

Absolutely unacceptable. I hope this location investigates thoroughly before someone gets...
Read moreTook everything out of the sandwich so it was completely visible how soggy the bread was. It was like it was dipped in water. It also did not have cheese like requested or get toasted for that matter. There were hardly any onions, cucumber, olives, or lettuce. I paid extra for extra meat only to receive less of everything else. There were probably six olives, 3 cucumber slices, and very few pieces of onion or shreds of lettuce in total throughout my FOOTLONG. That's stingy as can be considering my total was 13.17 between the sandwich and a cookie.
I ordered via ubereats and it took about ten minutes to get here in total (2 from time of pickup as it's not even a mile away) so I was expecting a fresh, crisp, yummy sandwich.. this is what I received.. something inedible to me. Don't even have any bread to make my own. Very...
Read moreCame here and felt automatically welcomed. Greeted by Janelle, who was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. I saw how she interacted with other guests as well and she delivered the same service, treating everyone so kindly. After finishing up with our order, she went straight back to maintaining the work and cleaning up after other guests had left.
I don’t usually leave reviews so much, but she deserves praise for her demeanor and work ethic that was clearly displayed.
Janelle was absolutely superb and she is someone that makes me want to come back to establishments because of this.
Keep up the great work Janelle, and give her a raise !
Thank...
