Tino's Too is a fantastic Tex-Mex place, serving Plano since the late 1970's. This review is a little biased, because I went to the original Tino's in Collin Creek Mall as a child in the 80's. The mall location was wonderful, with live music and amazing food. It did so well that Tino (yes, he's a real person) opened a second location - and it was Tino's Too. Tino passed away. The original location closed, and the mall has been torn down. A lot has changed over the years, but some things haven't: the quality and service at Tino's is as good as ever. We went in October of 2023 to celebrated my Grandfather's 92nd birthday. Everyone had a good time, and got more food than they could eat. I'm including a quick video of the interior and a few pictures. Here are some things to know: -They're closed on Monday and Tuesday. -There's plenty of parking, including wheelchair accessible parking. -They have restrooms, and when I visited they were clean. -No military discount. -Yes, they serve alcohol and have good margaritas. -Very family friendly. -Specials on Wednesdays. -Good prices with combination plates and such under $20. Most expensive item is carne asada for $33, and they give you a tender steak that covers the plate. Worth it. Overall, Tino's Too is a fantastic place, and will always have a special place in my heart. If you're in or near Plano and enjoy Tex-Mex, give them a try! Just not on Monday or Tuesday (closed).

We are regulars here because the food and service are so great. This is where you can get legit Mexican breakfast. Note: They only do breakfast on the weekends, starting at 8:00. My favorite is Huevos Montados, which come with a choice of two beef or cheese enchiladas (I go with beef) and two eggs on top (I go with over medium). They are kind enough to substitute sauteed spinach for the rice and beans to I can pretend to be a little healthy. For a healthier choice, you can get their Chicken Omelet, which comes with pulled chicken. Sub spinach for rice & beans like above, and you have a pretty healthy breakfast. A huge bonus to this place is that they serve *real Chiles Toreados, peppers sliced, seasoned, and pan-fried. They are free and delicious, you just have to ask for them. For lunch and dinner, I like a lot of their dishes. The Tejano platter is remarkable because it is beef enchiladas slathered in even more beef. Their Caldo de Mariscos is good and my friends with Mexican heritage give their Menudo their seal of approval. I also love their asada, guisada, and any of their shrimp dishes. Finally, their top shelf grande margarita is delicious and potent. If you haven't been, you owe it to yourself to go. You might see me there. :-D

We went here because a friend hosted their dad’s celebration of life luncheon here. They have been going here since the 70s and I know why! It was amazing. We started off with drinks and they provided salsa and chips. I ordered a tamale plate with chili sauce that came with rice and beans. Absolutely delicious! My wife ordered an equally scrumptious dish in the form of quesadillas. They had fajita chicken by request, and I ate one slice. Also, greatness. It was a busy, busy room because of the after party. I was so impress by the patience of the servers and the attention they gave to all the guests. This place is AMAZING! Color me impressed!!! We were so distracted by the food and company that we only got pictures of two of our drinks. I did get a mango margarita that was SO GOOD… and my wife got the swirl. She ordered 2! I also had a beer with a frosted mug… that chill with the cold beer formed a thin layer of tasty ice. Reminded me of a place in Fredericksburg, Tx that I will have to review next time we are in that area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tino's Too Mexican Restaurant in Plano, TX on K Ave, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. It's clear that the owners take great pride in their establishment.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately made me feel like part of the family. The fact that Tino's Too is a family-owned restaurant only added to the charm. I had the pleasure of being served by David, who provided the best service I have ever experienced in my life. His attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care for our dining experience were truly exceptional.

But it wasn't just the service that impressed me. The entire place had a magical aura, from the happy and contented customers to the warm and inviting ambiance. During my visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Raul, the owner, as well as his two children who also worked at the restaurant. It was evident that they were all passionate about what they do, and their attention to detail was unparalleled.

Now, let's talk about the food. My wife ordered the menudo, and I had the caldo de res. I have traveled the world and dined at countless restaurants, but I can confidently say that the taste and quality of the food at Tino's Too surpassed anything I have ever experienced. The flavors were rich, the ingredients were fresh, and every bite was a delight to the senses.

What impressed me even more was the fact that Tino's Too has been in business since 1976, a staggering 48 years at the time of this writing. This speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence and their ability to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Tino's Too Mexican Restaurant will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made, where families come together, and where the love for food and community is celebrated. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary dining experience, look no further than Tino's...

Fantastic on all levels! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tito’s Too for lunch and was transported straight to a land of taste. The ambiance and hospitality were exceptional!! The stars of my experience/meal were (in order of presentation) Alondra, my lovely server, who's smile was genuine and visually appealing, the Chicken Fajitas ("delish") and the business's owner who was gracious enough to come out to my booth and ensure my experience was more than just memorable.

Firstly, the meal's presentation was paramount, and the dish arrived with a theatrical sizzle, smoke swirling and the tantalizing aroma immediately filling the air. The succulent strips of chicken were glistening with seasoning and seemed to have soaked up every ounce of flavor during the cooking process.

The beauty of this Chicken meal was not just in the taste, but in the pleasure of building your own experience, combining ingredients, and customizing every bite. Every mouthful was a delightful mix of textures and flavors, from the slight crunch of the peppers to the melt-in-the-mouth quality of the chicken.

It's also worth mentioning that the portion sizes were generous. I was contentedly full, and yet, every time I thought I was done, I found myself reaching for just "one more bite".

Tito’s Too distinguishes itself not just through the authenticity and quality of its dishes, but through its commitment to giving diners a truly immersive experience. This dish was not just a meal; it was a complete journey. A journey I am eager to take again soon.

To anyone seeking an unparalleled Mexican lunch experience, make your way to Tito’s Too. The Chicken Fajitas, incredible service and authentic ambiance await, and they are all nothing short...
