I officially end my 3 years search for the Eggs Benedict. By now everyone know that I’m a food lover who love to eat. 3 years ago i visited this place in down town Montreal call Universal Dejeuners. I ordered they eggs Benedict I haven’t have eggs Benedict like that before. So since I return from that trip I’ve been searching all over central Florida to see if anyone come close my friends suggested many places, a lot of referral nothing come close. I was visited my uncle in plantation Florida once again I use google to find my next place to eat the name is @marians_bagels 🥯 with 171 reviews on google and a 4.5 out 5* I decided to give a try. We walk in I look around the the place, first the entire server staff where elderly women, I look around the place look like everyone have been coming to the place for 100s of years, I first feel like I was out of place a little, as always I let my serve who’s name was Kathy know that I was there for the first time she reply with an amazing smile thank you for coming you going to love it, I look in the menu I saw eggs Benedict my eye went 😳 and then I give her my eggs Benedict story she said you should try the eggs Benedict Florentine. I ask is it good she said we have the best eggs Benedict, I said are you sure she said yes. To my surprise, it was better then the one I had in canada 🇨🇦. The service was amazing the food was delicious, the atmosphere was so relax full of retire people, I love it. My server Kathy was so nice next time I’m in south Florida, I will go back again just because of her. After 3 years of searching for the perfect eggs Benedict I have to say I finally find a place that make me forget about the experience I had in down town Montreal. Read moreGood morning Dean first and foremost I’ve been coming to your restaurant for the past 10 years and everything has been very good except for recently since you hired Brian to run the restaurant for you things have changed for the worst. Food has been coming out. Cold orders have been wrong. He also brought in a new waiter a gentleman I don’t know his name with no experience and I think he should have been trained first before just putting him on the floor Today which is Saturday 3– 17–23. Your manager, Brian was reprimanding one of the employees upfront by the counter, where everybody in the restaurant could hear him very unprofessional things like this need to be taking in the back room and talk to one on one in private, not in front of the whole restaurant this gentleman Brian is going to run your business into the ground, and I’d hate to see that happen as I enjoy coming here, and eating and chatting with the waitresses. They work hard and do a very good job. It seems like there’s been a let go of a few people that I think we’re good for your business but then again I don’t know what happened and it’s none of my business, but I hear people coming in and asking where these people are and they tell them they no longer work here and just from listening to them they’re not happy about it. your waitresses and your bus boys do an awesome job. I think you should take another look at Brian before it gets too late and he runs your business down. Read moreI was looking forward to ordering bagels here as it is so close to my house and had very good reviews. Unfortunately, I did not get that opportunity. I arrived and no customers were at the register and there was a lady and gentleman bending down getting something from underneath the register that took nearly 3-5 minutes. Apparently she was counting money or something. When she stood up, her and the gentleman saw me there with a menu in my hand. No greeting was given to acknowledge my presence. I continued to stand there and the line of customers formed until the whole cash register area was full of people waiting. Then finally the lady says to me "are you ordering something" I said yes and she walked off to do something. The gentleman a few minutes later comes back to the register and as I am clearly standing the first person in line asks the gentleman standing behind me if he is picking up an order and he says yes. Instead of acknowledging my presence again when I was standing right in front of him. I proceeded to to stand there a little while longer but everyone who worked there was walking by the register and the other lady was carrying on and did not come back. I placed the menu down and left. The place looked disorganized and if you can not even greet your customers, I can only imagine the length of time I would of had to wait for my order.
