Crumbl Cookies Pumpkin Square: New for 2024 from Crumbl is the Pumpkin Square. It's advertised as "a moist, fluffy pumpkin square marbled with brown sugar cinnamon butter, smothered with a light vanilla cream cheese frosting, and topped with a sprinkle of warm spice". I almost didn't buy this because it was my first "square" from Crumbl and I didn't know if it would be worth the price tag or not (an additional dollar to their already questionable base price). For starters, it is relatively large and heavy. Cutting a piece out of the tray, it was even thicker than it initially appeared. Even though it's thick, I found it to be somewhat light and airy/fluffy. Its texture is a cross between cake and pumpkin pie. Sort of hard to imagine, it's a cake, but a little gooey like pumpkin pie. The square is intended to be served warm and when done so, it practically melts in your mouth. As for the flavor, it's a mild pumpkin with hints of cinnamon without too much spice or burning. I feared there might not have been enough cream cheese frosting since the layer on top is thinner than a skeleton, but the intense sweetness of it more than makes up for the amount. Hidden by the cream cheese is a layer of gooey brown sugar cinnamon butter that also ups the sweetness. I looked like the quintessential jack-o'-lantern after eating my pumpkin square as I had a larger-than-life grin on my face. This location has the most amazing staff! I love the cookies but it's the crew that is really the "icing on the cookie"! I regularly pick up orders that I bring to my customers. Needless to say, my customers love it when I visit! Today, I was picking up a catering order to bring to my wife's Uline office for her and her team for a Mother's Day surprise. I misread the app and showed up two hours early to pick up my order. The staff quickly took care of prospering my order! I watched as they dried around to masterfully prepare and defrosted 50 mini Crumbl cookies. I grabbed some Crumbl ice cream and another box full of the mystery cookies and I was on my way. I had gotten no more than a mile away when a car darted across an intersection causing me to crash head on into them. I was shaken but not injured. My car was mangled. I looked over to the seat next to me and the boxes full of Crumbl cookies were a mess. After dealing with the police, I drive my hobbled car back to Crumbl and told them what happened. My idea was to pay again for these cookies and that nothing was going to keep me from surprising my wife for Mother's Day. The Crumbl crew saw my car in pieces and the distraught look on my face and said, hang on, let us help make your day better. First of all, if you haven’t tried these cookies then you must ! They are not the average cookie and are worth every penny and calorie :). Not only do their cookies rock, but so do the people that work there. We need to call out people for amazing customer service more often, so here I go. I called Crumble today, during a difficult time. My father just passed away and I wanted to express my gratitude to those who were there for him. I have never placed a catering order there before and Payton, from Crumble, came to the rescue. This was not an easy order . 400 mini cookies, 4 different locations, four different cookies I wanted assorted to all locations , and she made it seem like a breeze during a difficult time for me. I picked crumble because their cookies are the best and I wanted the best for the people who were there for my dad, but now I will defiantly pick them again for any occasion and for myself because of Payton.
