This was my first visit to any D & B, we were there to celebrate my daughter's 23rd birthday. First our experience with Tiara and the upstairs dining was FANTASTIC. Tiara was very attentive and personal to our group. The food was good bar food and reasonably priced. Dining was not the problem at all. The problem was lack of enforcement of parental supervision of minors (very young children). There was a group with several young children, 2-5, that were just allowed to run free, interrupting other guests’ games, taking balls from other guests while they were playing the game they paid for, running around with the air hockey paddles, climbing on games, play on the stairs to give an example of some of the behaviors. While the men of the group sat drunk at the bar eating and the woman sat a table at the farthest part or the dining area talking, eating and drinking. At one point the one child who was about 3 was climbing on top of a toy. I said something to the person who appeared to be management appeared and told me he knows who they belonged to since he has taken them back several times. I mentioned to him how ridiculous this was and how one of these kids is going to get hurt or stolen and the parents need to be with them. He took them away but that didn’t last at all. Another adult in my group had an encounter with one of the adults in their group which wasn’t pleasant. At which time something was said about bringing in a district manager to see what could be done. The district manager seemed to nothing but stand there and watch these kids run around and play on the stairs. The lack of any supervision from the parents and the lack of enforcement of your policy of parents tending to their children made my day a bit stressful as I worried about children I don’t know and being interrupted by bad parents. Another employee praise is for the one who was running the prize area. She maintained control in her area and made unsupervised children leave telling them they needed to be with a parent. Maybe she should be considered for a management position. I wish I had paid attention to what her name was. Whoever was there 8/27/2023 between 4-6pm should be recognized and a benefit to your company. As a person who is a manager of a business, I feel the lack of backbone to the management staff needs to be addressed. Enforcement of the policy for minors needs to be addressed so everyone can have a fun and safe...
Read moreI used to come here a lot in the past, and the service was excellent! Top notch, even! But lately it seems as though it's going downhill quite a bit. If I'm not being served by George, chances are I'll receive less than satisfactory service. I'll sit at my table, waiting for someone to come and take my order, only for them to essentially ignore the fact that I'm even there. And when I finally do someone to take my order, they don't greet me, ask me what I'd like to get started with, none of that. Basically just a, "Can I help you?", and that's it. And when you give them your order, they act even less interested, and sometimes even act as though you are bothering them even though that's their job. Just acting completely miserable to be there, especially this one female server/ bar tender with the brown hair. Don't know why, but for whatever reason, just about every time I ask her for anything whenever she's serving me, her attitude just gets worse and worse every second, acting as if she was forced to work there. There's almost always such a long wait to get my food that when I finally do end up getting it, it's almost always on the verge of being cold. That's literally how low of an amount of heat coming off the food on the plate after I finally get it. So now my food is even less enjoyable than it would be if it were hot. George, however, doesn't do that. He gets to you in a timely manner, asks you what you want, and brings it to you in no time! And best of all, when he brings the food to you, it's still somewhat hot! If it weren't for him, this review would be lower. And let's not forget, shall we? There are times in which I'll try to play a game and there seems to be something wrong with it. And when you'd bring it up to their attention, they do as little as they can to help you, and despite knowing there's going to be times in which customers are going to bring up any problems that the games might end up having, they just sit there and act surprised you would bring the issues up to their attention so that you can get them to fix it for you. I think I've been a little generous with the amount of chances I've given this Dave and Busters. I don't think I'll be coming back anywhere near as often as I used to, and I'll just stick to the other locations, where I tend to get excellent service. The only way I will come back is if I have absolutely no other...
Read moreSucks!! The lady at the front desk was loud and obnoxious fake happy energy the minute we walked in. She was yelling at the customers about the line and the amount of money to add to the card. She seemed very irritated and uncomfortably loud sarcastic voice. In the middle of me asking a question when my transaction was done she screamed NEXT IN LINE!! It was so tacky reminded me of how people act in retail when they are trying to hurry up from being understaffed. My son was excited at first but the excitement turned into a frown when the games got jammed every single time and we had to constantly keep asking someone to fix it. Secondly the music was extremely loud and you can barely hear yourself talk or think. The food service was the absolute worst they don’t give you utensils, napkin or water you have to ask for it. They took about 20 min to take our order then an additional 1 hr to prep food and the waiter (don’t think she ever gave me her name cause I don’t remember it) she was very nonchalant and taking her sweet time with everything. She was African America with blonde hair not friendly at all she seemed irritated most of the time. I know the workload might be a lot but you’re not supposed to show the guest that your irritated it leaves a bad impression. Being kind goes a long way! When the food finally arrived about 1 hr later the pizza was NOT a flatbread and the wings was NOT Lemon Pepper. I was so over it and so was my son. We are what ate what we can cause we were extremely hungry but wasn’t satisfied at all. The music and the game sound was all same volume and very distracting. I asked the waiter for a check and she went off somewhere came back and passed my table to take the next table order. I had to stop a tall gentleman wearing a red shirt to ask for the check. She turned around and saw him talking to us and intervened rudely with an attitude. The waiter claimed she would give us a discount for having us wait so long and it was like $2 taken off and re added because of tax so it wasn’t a discount at all. I will NOT BE COMING BACK! Whoever manage this place need to do better at training your staff on customer service, putting the music & game volume down or balance it out. It’s just so many no’s for this place. Dave & busters is supposed to be fun not frustrating. The whole vibe of this location is...
