Terrible. Honestly, they should close this location. Used to come to this location a lot (grew up in the area) and stopped in with my family this past Sunday for dinner at 6:30 PM. After the rude hostess mumbled something about how she could not seat us, despite practically an empty restaurant b.c they did not have enough servers (great planning, especially with the restaurant across from you closed - so great way to earn more business), we then asked to seat at the bar. No apologies, just a sense of, you should be so lucky to get a table here!
Again, more mumbling something about just seating someone in the bar, of which I asked for clarity as to what that meant, and finally found out that I could sit at the bar (with my 2 year old mind you) but not an empty booth? Same drill occurred with 2 other families who walked in, all of which then walked out out of frustration, where we proceeded to all tell each other in the parking lot that we will not be back...ever. Now, they lost all of us as customers and everyone I can find who I will tell the same.
Hostess was rude, manager came out, gave us all a look and said "you'll just have to wait" (so, also rude) and I found myself excited to know that with this service, this location will be no doubt close soon and these people will be out of jobs - and rightfully so. Needless to say, I came in for a quick bite so I could put 2 large catering orders in while I was there, for 2 upcoming events, which I will now NOT be proceeding with.
I get it, good people are hard to find, but - don't open for a Sunday dinner if you can only seat 5 tables - just don't open at all. Total horrible look and makes you look amateur. And - don't place someone with an attitude and a look of misery as your hostess who mumbles (have the manager do it if need be and wait until you find someone qualified for the job). Overall poor mgmt, poorly run and an attitude no one deserves.
PF Changs will likely, unfortunately, go that route of TGI's and Houihans and close due to poorly chosen employees and mediocre food and this location has a time clock on it for sure before it shutters. You heard...
Read moreSo tonight was my first time going into PFChangs and we had such a great time! We decided to sit at the bar and the bartenders Ashley and Jordan were so kind and down to earth and approachable and took such good care of us while managing to take care of everyone else with the same element of just great customer service. Since we were new, Ashley suggested our drinks for us based off what we each said we wanted the flavors to be close to (which we got and loved) and jordan spiced it up a notch with giving us different options of herbs and fruit to add to our drinks for taste, so the presentation was flawless. Our food came out in a timely manner and since we dont eat using silverware Jordan left us with no worries by offering and bringing out plasticware for us to eat with (Thank You đ) .Ashleys way of interacting with not only us but our stranger neighbors sitting beside us actually had us speaking with each other , and with Jordanâs back up (there was a guy that was part of our newly made up group)it diversified the conversation, which in totality made us all stay for even longer than I think we all expected. With this being our first time and our experience ending up being so fun and held with the most amazing hospitality ,we will definitely be coming back to PFChangs with a bigger group and will be suggesting our family, friends, co workers etc. to come âdine inâ as well. Thank you Ashley and Jordan! You guys kilt it and p.s the Managers overall attitude was so personable and down to earth im sure thatâs why he has the staff he has and they work so...
Read moreOrdered off Uber Eats to Lansdale; mongolian beef, spicy orange chicken w/ fried rice, signature lo mein, small cucumber salad, crab wontons & kung pao brussel sprouts . Total came to almost $140. To say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. We couldâve ordered from a hole in the wall spot up the street & received better, hotter food. The chicken was soggy, fried rice under-seasoned and basically tasteless. I never really enjoyed crab wontons but got them for my boyfriend; they were basically inedible. The wonton wrappers were fried perfectly but the stuffing was dry & tasteless. Normally served with sour sauce, these were served with a weird brown ginger sauce which didnât compliment the appetizer. Kung Pao beef was good but probably ~6oz of steak for $24!? Lo mein was alright (ordered for an 8 year old) & a good portion for the cost. The best item we ordered were the brussel sprouts, I definitely recommend them if youâre a sprout lover. The worst item was the cucumber salad. Iâm not even exaggerating, thinly sliced cucumbers, sesame seeds & what I believe to be sesame oil in a small container. Absolute trash. PF Changs should be ashamed of their quality vs. price. We will most definitely not...
