I travel a lot so I stop at friendly's now and again and usually have an good experience.... Tonight was not one of those times. I asked for hot tea, and it literally came out cold like she had used cold tap water. I had to make the server put her finger into the cup to make her understand that the water was cold, not hot. She went back and I think may have just microwaved it because I got a lukewarm cup of tea back in a tiny mug that cost $2.99 and never got a refill.

I waited a really long time for my fishamajig and onion rings and then when I finally got it, instead of onion rings I got waffle fries that were ice cold and a fish sandwich that was scalding hot, like just out of the deep fryer. The waitress acknowledged the mistake and brought me warmish onion rings in a to go styrofoam box...which was a little weird. The server was nice...but seemed young and maybe inexperienced. She did respond to everything I pointed out but it just felt like they were way off their game. There were only 2 other customer tables in the whole place and 4 other employees that I could see. Not sure why they couldn't get 3 tables of...

Friendly's has maybe 3 dishes I order and I love getting ice cream here. I ordered ahead but still there was a wait time but that wasn't long at all. The establishment needs updating badly , maybe even add some kid friendly games and send offers through emails. The sandwich honey BBQ chicken supermelt was very very heavy just too much chicken and BBQ sauce so I did not eat much I knew I would feel sick after but my fiance ate his and he did end up with a bad stomach ache. Not to mention the fries with the meal were so little which was a waste of the amount paid. My experience here is order to leave because the environment isn't personal at all its very hectic seeing the children have nothing fun to do so alot of cranky kids and the set up of seating isn't ideal. The floor is so dirty and they lack employers , which none had a smile on their face at all. Not exactly friendly , I think they need better management seems they hire people and don't give them much training. After years of going here I would think they'd have updated the establishment by now but they have not. It's very much needed. The menu needs more new...

Went there on two different occasions. Will never go there again. The first time I wanted take out; husband was in the hospital about 5 minutes away. I stood at the counter for at least 15 minutes; with multiple employees coming in and out of the area. Nobody would acknowledge me standing there or give eye contact. Finally a man entered the area and took my order. I waited at least 20 minutes more before the same man who took my order inquired if I was still waiting for my order. He went back to check on my order and was gone another 10 minutes. Finally my meal came; took it back to the hospital and food was ice cold. The second time I went there (today), it was the same story except there was a family that had arrived before me and had yet to give their name. Nobody would acknowledge us; nobody greeted us. I left after about 5 minutes of standing in line behind the family who arrived before me. I left there and went to Friendly's in Pembroke, where we got "greeted and seated" immediately and the service...

Great food and tasty ice creams!!! I understand that the current situation isn’t the one to talk about wait times but we had an insane wait to simply get our ice creams served to us. We ordered our ice cream, got served our check, we paid our check and after a whole 20 minutes we got our ice cream. I repeat, I do understand staff shortage and restrictions on business operations but 20 minutes to serve ice cream from the front of the store to a table might be a little bit too much. I’d have walked to the front to go and collect it myself if not for the guidelines in place. Our attendant was super friendly and really nice to talk to. She helped with our orders and was patient enough to answer questions wrt getting a vegetarian meal option. I feel the place has a great value for money and the store decor is quintessential American diner combined with brand colors.

I went to this Friendly’s a couple weeks ago and was not satisfied much. We walked in and stood for 10 minutes at the waiting area. No one else was waiting and there were clearly around three to four tables open. We finally got seated and right away the waitress came to ask for our drinks. We didn’t even get to look at the menu. After ordering drinks I selected my food, two mini cheese burgers (two sliders) with a side of fries. We ordered. Then I got my burgers. B U R G E R S . We asked for cheese and then received my correct order. But I have to admit dessert was awesome. I ordered the Oreo sundae!

Friendly’s once held a special place in my heart, but this location continues to disappoint. On a quiet visit with only one other table occupied, we were served half-frozen food, cold entrees, and quesadillas soaked in bitter, dirty oil—raising serious concerns about kitchen upkeep. Even the dine-in sauces came in plastic to-go cups, adding to the lackluster presentation. Nostalgia can only excuse so much; sadly, this visit was more disheartening than heartwarming.
