Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Pocatello

Usually love this place. But our most recent visit was all around terrible, especially considering they conveniently added $10 to the total ticket amount that came out of my bank account. The visit started with us being sat at two tables pushed together (by staff) partially blocking one of the walk ways. After we sat down a waitress came out and said "yeah this is not going to work. This isn't okay." With some attitude as if we had moved the tables there ourselves. Then after we ordered, all of the food came out extremely spaced apart. Half of our table had their food for about 20 minutes before the other half. When we asked about it they said "we do it this way now so everyone gets their food while it's hot" which was funny considering the last meals that were brought out were cold. And for the icing on the cake, they charged my card an extra $10. I did not keep the receipt (my fault) but once I noticed the charge I called about this. I stated that I didn't want a refund for $10 but I did want them to be aware of the situation, to which I was told "without the receipt there's nothing I can do" which is understandable, but the man I spoke to on the phone said they couldn't look up tickets in their system which seems odd to me, having worked in a restaurants myself. All in all, I'm not going to make a fuss over 10 bucks but if you dine here make sure to keep your receipts in case they try to add money on to your total bill without your knowledge too. Especially since they will do absolutely nothing to look into the issue...

We have come here more often in recent months, usually a couple times a month. The food is always pretty predictable, but the service is very spotty. Sometimes it's great, other times it's pretty miserable. Sometimes you get a cheery face and food comes out in 10 minutes; other times, the lady at the door walks you to a table, throws down a menu on a table without saying a word; we've also had food sit under a heat lamp for 40 min, only to get dried out, old food.

One night we waited 40 min to be seated when there were no fewer than 15 open tables clearly visible in their dining area; no big party or anything, they just created an artificial wait. Maybe not a big deal unless you're like us and had a toddler in tow. Even if your kitchen is running slow (not sure if that was the case), it's much easier to manage a toddler in a high chair at a table than chasing them around the parking lot.

We come here every couple months and the experience is always consistent. The food is good, but not fantastic. They have a large variety of beer on tap, as well as lots of sauce options to choose from for your wings. It does the job for a chain sports bar type place. Service is always great, notably from our waitress, Cameo, on our most recent visit. I go here all the time! I love chicken wings, and so far, I have not been disappointed with this place! When I talk about wings, I am referring to the traditional wings. Boneless wings are not wings, in my opinion. They are chicken nuggets with too much breading. I don't order boneless wings unless they are free with points or something. I have been to other BWW in other States that have overcooked, dry, and small wings, but this place is pretty consistent. The wings are a good size. I have not experienced any dry overcooked wings yet at this location. (Knock on wood) They have always been juicy and delicious. Sometimes, when I get them to go, they are a little stingy with the sauce they put on the wings, but i usually just put my own sauce on them when i get home. It doesn't happen that often, honestly.

It's a fun place to go with friends or get some wings to go when you want to watch a movie at home! Sure, wait times can be a little long sometimes, but it doesn't bother me. A lot of people go here so it's to be expected when they are busy. They have several good wing flavors to choose from. Service is hit or miss, but as long as I get what I ordered, it doesn't keep me from coming back. It's one of my go-to places for wings, and I am happy we have a BWW...
