The food is good when and if you can get it, but there are problems with the service at this particular location every single time we go. Since this is our closest Subway, we just won't be going to Subway anymore; I'd rather pay a little more for a smaller sub from Jimmy John's just down the road from this Subway location.
Today was the last straw - my husband went in and there were three young girls working. Two young males were in there and the girls were talking to the males. One male was shirtless, which is exactly what we want to see and smell when we're at a resturant. The males were not customers, they were boyfriends of the girls working there. There was no food ordered by them, nothing being paid for and eaten.
We know this, because when my husband asked if he could be served, he was told he had to wait until the girls were done talking to their boyfriends. When he asked why he should have to wait for them to finish talking to their boyfriends rather than even one of them serving their only actual paying customer, the shirtless male got agressive with my husband and got in his face, trying to intimidate him and insisting he move out of the way so this male could sit at a table with his girlfriend that was behind my husband. There was plenty of room, no reason for him to try and insist my husband move out of his way, - it made my husband feel this young boy was trying to harass him because my husband had dared to ask to be served so that he could get our dinner and go home. My husband said so to the young male. The male threatened my husband because he said my husband couldn't talk to his girlfriend the way that he had.
My husband asked if there was a corporate number or email he could contact about the way the girls working were refusing to assist him until they were done talking to their boyfriends, and to discuss their policy of allowing people into the resturant without shirts - which the girl employee that was apparently dating said shirtless male told my husband was not against any policy when my husband said he felt it was unhiygenic, and the girls told him no. Just no, they wouldn't give him any number or email. They insisted to him that there is apparently no way to contact corporate, no one to escalate a complaint to. When the male continued to be agressive, following my husband out of the resturant, my husband told him he would call the police. The male ran away as his girlfriend in the store was yelling, "No, no don't do that!" at my husband.
This is not an acceptable environment for an eating establishment, and frankly, it sucks that this location has - over many bad visits with bad customer service - soured us on all of Subway.
This is the worst service we've had at that location, but it is not surprising as the customer service at this particular location has been poor nearly every time we have been there. The workers ignore you and don't even acknowledge you unless you speak up, they are often rude and apathetic, making it clear they could care less if you have a bad experience with Subway and making you feel as though you are somehow bothering them by asking them to make you...
Read moreWe have placed to go orders before and the food was okay but they have either left things off or barely put any sauce on. This last time we were out of town and accidentally placed the order right before opening, we called 10 times between 10am and 8 pm and they never answered the phone. I had to go in the next day because they still wouldn't answer the phones. The employee called the manager right in front of me and they said they would be in the next day and would take care of it, and to get my info and order number. Next day, no call, no refund. 2 days later I had to call back to back 4 times for them to answer and had to give them all my info again which tells me they most likely threw my info away and hoped I'd drop it. The manager was super rude and annoyed with me but took my info to pass on to her manager to see how to resolve it. The assistant GM called me and said I could come in for a cash refund the next day. We have a new born so I sent my husband and the assistant GM was extremely rude and condescending, lied saying we have not picked up our orders several times which isn't true and then scolded him saying if it happens again to call right away so she can resolve it right then. When he reminded her that we had called all day long with no answer, she then got super defensive and snippy saying they were too busy and couldn't hear the phone. She lacked all tact and took no responsibility. I understand it was our fault for not double checking the address before submitting the order but could have been easily fixed had they just answered their phones. I wouldn't even be writing a review had it not taken 6 days to resolve and her being so rude. Bold on their part considering we have 3 subways in a 3 mile radius. Definitely will not...
Read moreThis has by far been my favorite subway for over a year now, sadly tonight around 7:30pm wasn't the exceptional service I'm accustomed to. We pulled into the lot to see the 2 employees on shift sitting outside on the ground on their cell phones, no big deal everyone needs a break... the young lady uses the sidewalk to stand up, walks inside with a less then friendly look on her face. We enter behind her and the sandwich counter is trashed with veggies and sauces all over it... she never cleaned it off. She Asks us what we would like to order and proceeds to grab bread THEN puts on gloves. Never washing her hands... she over fills 2 sandwiches to the point the bread completely falls apart and is no longer a sandwich but a big glob of goo and shredded bread. The wrap we ordered was rolled not wrapped, so everything fell out of the ends. All in all being I KNOW this restaurant is better than the service we recieved tonight, I will be back, but maybe some extra training on hygiene, customer service, and sandwich making is needed. Especially if I am paying nearly 40 dollars for 3...
