Black Anchor Coffee House — Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach

I don't write reviews often. Should have listened to the reviews. Ordered two Pirates Gold Omelettes and two iced coffee's for $30. Bacon was all fat, slapped on cheese wasn't even melted and ham had a very rubbery/fatty texture. We thought for the time it took to make it, it would be worth the wait but it turned out to be a major disappointment the moment we opened the containers. Noticed a few other orders after ours and they were just as disappointed. Coffee was "alright". CASH ONLY and for the money you spent for a simple breakfast, was a complete waste. It is what it is, we learned our lesson and found a local dinner instead with better quality, faster service, and cheaper. Hope this helps future...

I tried this "cash only" place to get a quick medium iced coffee. I must say that it was really good and didn't need too much sugar. The crepes that people ordered ahead of me looked amazing so the next time I am in the area I will definitely try them. The only issue is that the prices are a bit steep (I think my medium iced coffee cost over $4). A little confusing to locate; the sign for Black Anchor is on the wall of the stall for Crepes & More. Even when mapping it and standing practically in front of it, we had difficulty finding this. Being avid coffee drinkers, we came to this boardwalk ONLY for this coffee house, which wasn't a house at all, just a stall. There's no seating.
