We ate here for the first time tonight, and definitely do not plan in going back. Our server appeared to be management, so I would've expected much better service from her. First, they forgot to bring out our drinks, we only got water so it wasn't too complicated of an order to forget. Then, our server didn't write our orders down, so we weren't entirely surprised when our orders came out wrong. Three of us ordered salads, 2 small and 1 large, yet they were all the same size when we received them. My mother in law ordered the california salad specifically because she wanted something with avocado in it, yet her salad did not come with any on it. When we notified our server, she put her face right next to the salad to inspect it as if she didnt believe us. She came back to notify us that they were out of avocado and she could discount our salad or substitute the avocado for artichoke hearts. We were only discounted $1. She would have changed her order if we were notified before they brought her food out and she had started eating it. We also did not receive any of the pizza bread that was supposed to accompany our salads, which we did not realize until the end of our meal so there was no point in telling them at that point. Service took so long, we were there for over 2 hours. Women were smoking cigarettes while eating their dinner, despite the no smoking signs next to them and no server addressed this with the customers, so we had to smell cigarette smoke for half of our meal. Overall, extremely dissatisfied with our experience and would not recommend...
Read moreWe have been loyal customers of this pizzeria for several years, almost weekly, but unfortunately, we have been mistreated a few times by the woman who works as the hostess. She has some sort of issue with deciding who can or cannot sit at certain tables, and you always have to sit where she wants. This wasn’t the first or even second time that, despite the restaurant being almost empty, she wouldn’t let us choose our table. I usually take a deep breath and let it go because, despite her, there are good people working here who are polite, and the food is great.
But today, unfortunately, I couldn't stay calm. There was an empty table for four, and my husband and I wanted to sit there. It wasn’t reserved, and no one else was waiting for it, but she still wouldn’t let us sit. I told her that we’ve been weekly customers for years and asked why we couldn’t sit at an unreserved table, but she refused. So, I left and will never come back.
She may have gained $100 extra that day by saving a table for four, in case a larger group showed up, but she lost much more in the long run because we used to spend there weekly! Unfortunately, she needs lessons on how to treat customers and manage a business better. I believe she may be the owner or manager, as she seems to be making these decisions. This time, she wasn’t rude, but on two other occasions, she was impolite and seemed to want to control...
Read moreOn May 2nd 2025, I, with two other friends dined at Carlucci Trattoria & Pizzeria. We had 2 pizzas and a plate of fusilli alla Carlucci. I found the food to be OK. My problem with this restaurant is that you need to validate your parking to get free parking. Well, we did dine at this restaurant and the owner Mr. Rosario Troia on his private cell validated my vehicle with Professional Parking Management. A few days later I received a parking ticket by Professional Parking Management for $125.00. A week after I received this ticket, I passed by the restaurant looking for Mr Rosario Troia but unfortunately, he wasn't at the restaurant. I left a copy of the ticket including my cell number and asked the waitress as well as the cook to have Mr. Troia call me so that we can discuss the reason why I received this ticket. As of today, 6/18/2025, still no response. Unfortunately, it makes you wonder if this restaurant and Professional Parking Management aren't working together. To all potential customer going to dine at this restaurant be aware of this trap. Your meal might cost you an extra $125.00 more...
