I recently dined at Coach Island Grill, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The restaurant was clearly short-staffed, but what made it worse was watching leadership casually walk around instead of stepping in to help. The seating was poorly organized, leading to unnecessary wait times.

The food was another letdown—hash browns turned out to be just chopped-up French fries, which was both disappointing and misleading. On top of that, I had to ask for lemon slices three times before finally receiving them. To make matters worse, my meal was brought out in two separate parts, with a five-minute gap between them, leaving me waiting while my first half got cold.

Overall, the lack of efficiency and attention to detail made for a frustrating experience. I hope management takes steps to address these issues because the potential is there, but the execution is seriously lacking. Not to mention the only reason we chose this restaurant is because Our Family Kitchen and Bakery Cafe were both closed since it was Sunday. Next time I think we're better off at McDonald's or Whataburger, which is disheartening because we always prefer to support...

We've only been here once for breakfast. This single experience would have us coming back though and recommending to others! We were there on a Tuesday, in November, around 10am. It was packed, but our wait was only 20mins. The atmosphere was sportsy, fitting the name. The restaurant is small, so not many tables. The only thing I didn't care for was the loud music. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was AMAZING. Everything had great flavor/seasoned well! Our food came out at slightly different times, but was piping hot when delivered. The Philly cheese steak was delicious; however, I feel it's more of a steak sandwich than a "Philly cheesesteak." And I subbed the bell peppers and mushrooms for jalapeƱos. The pancakes were great and large! But disappointed in Walmart brand syrup. The eggs were cooked well and NOT in a ton of oil like other restaurants. The hashbrowns, at least this time, were an "extra crispy" person's dream!! They came thin and crispy. Which is...

Horrible customer service. Went there once before and the service wasn't great, don't even remember if the food was good or not because the service was so bad. We decided to give them one more try. We put our name on the waiting list and were told 20-30 minutes. After 40 minutes and checking how much longer it would be we were given attitude because someone in our party had checked 10 minutes prior. We were originally told there were 5 party's ahead of us and 7 went in before we said anything. We finally gave in and left because we heard them ask a party of four and a party of two if they wanted to share a table when there are several large partys currently waiting to be seated. Not only were we not the only one but there were two large party's with infants standing outside in the sun. It's hot we're sweating and they were rude to us. After 2 bad experiences we won't be back. If you enjoy standing in the sun sweating for an hour before your meal this might be the...

Cool spot in Port A to grab the best breakfast on the Island. The $5 Coach's Special is a great deal for a light breakfast. The French Toast Platter is excellent and a hearty breakfast, it also can be a Pancake Platter (pancake is large). Very friendly and attentive staff along with interesting interior give this place a down home diner feel. They serve breakfast through closing, the burgers and CFS that can be ordered as breakfast or as lunch plate both looks very good. There may be a wait for a table during busy times when the Island is hopping with visitors. Living close to Port A, I go often but only during when it's the off season.

First impression, decor is cool and has a lot of sports memorabilia. We waited about 20 mins to grab a table, then we ordered some coffee while we looked over the menu. After placing our orders (2 adults and two kids) we waited about 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Then they forgot a pancake that my wife had included in our order, we reminded the waitress, she said she was going to check on it and never came back. Seems like they didn’t care or didn’t want to be there. Eventually we got the pancake removed because we never received it. Also if you order the steak and eggs it’s more like a cheesesteak instead of an actual steak.

Been here in year's past when it was the old 'hole-in-the-wall' location... good and service were better then. Stood at the hostess stand for a full 10 minutes this time before anyone even acknowledged me so we could get on the waiting list for a table. Last time, the sole waitress was spunky and funny and interacted with everyone. At the new joint, there are several wait staff, but no one interested in making people feel welcome... at least not today. We waited almost a full hour to get in, then felt rushed because other people were waiting too. We went out of our way to come here or we wouldn't have stayed.
