Food is good. Service is terrible. Same old service. Made me wait 5 minutes because they were talking in the back of the kitchen. Then the young man comes up front with the look on his face like he doesn't want to be bothered. So I ask him can I get three number four combos with cheese medium heat. He rings me up and says $45 and some cents. I said what? Well because he wasn't paying attention he rang up four number four combos instead of three. Now I don't know about you but I'm on a fixed income. Once a month I'm able to buy take out for my family. Sadly once a month only. This month I chose Dave's. First time I went there the service was impeccable. The young lady who helped me was very sweet and helpful. Never been the same since. So now I have to wait two to four working days to get my money refunded, all because your person taking my order was distracted and I wasn't important enough for him to pay attention. I've seen this place for a while and my dad and I have been wanting to try it, and I'm so glad we decided to stop in today!! The chicken was HUGE, but it was cooked perfectly. Despite being absolutely thicc, it was cooked all the way through and juicy. The spice is a lot, so if you're not huge on a lot of seasoning, this might not be for you. You can choose your spice level all the way from no spice to Carolina reaper (which you have to sign a waiver to get). Having a minor spice tolerance I went with mild and it was perfect. Their sauce is very tasty and is quite similar to Cane's sauce. Stephanie at the counter was AWESOME and was super patient when explaining to us how to order and our suitable spice level. I personally do not enjoy the food at all. (My grandson does)Chicken not great. service not great watch out regarding purchase of gift cards or even when you are charged. Purchased gift card for 25.00 only had 7 and change on it and gift card not used at all. When initially rang the register showed authorized then she asked to swipe again. Brought to the attention.
