Stopped in for a coffee. I was in line for the ferry and didn't know how much time I had. They have a sign that says if you are waiting for the ferry or something else to let them know so I did. They had a "trainee" who didn't seem to know what an Americano is so they were telling her and so I let them know I was in line at the ferry and so could the more experienced person make it. I got a snotty response.
Long story short, I am not sure who actually made my coffee. But I am sure that the coffee tasted more like water than coffee. The only high point was that it was hot and it was a really cold day.

Read more2 stars because they were open during the hours they say they’re open. Other than that, all baked goods are $6 seemed high just lookin at the items and was confirmed too high when I ate one. Almost went for the brownie but it was hard to the touch so I got a raspberry bar. The bar was essentially jam on top of a shortbread made with too much baking soda so it was both too sweet and bland. No prices for baked good or on drink sign that I saw but I did see they used boxed concentrate for their chai tea which I think is too much of a shortcut for a coffee shop to take, not even brewing their own tea. Read moreOn 14 November 2021, while waiting for my ferry in Port Townsend, I wanted a good cup of coffee so I started looking for coffee shop’s near by. Ground to Perfection was the nearest coffee shop so I walked from the ferry which was a short five minute walk. The customer service and hospitality was outstanding! Not sure what the women's name was, but she was super sweet and very nice. Her buddy Jack was funny and very outgoing. Lots of Love and laughter in this coffee shop and they make you feel at home. My mocha was made to perfection! I highly recommend Ground to Perfection if you are ever in the area. Hope to see you again Jack...
