I keep coming back because when it's a take out night my daughter only wants a large side of noodles. I usually skip Panda, but I was craving it the last two trips. I asked for a large chow mein (for my daughter) and we ordered two plates. They gave us a large orange chicken. So we ended up giving her ours. The food is really not that pricey, but I'm tired of paying $8 for 6 full bites of chicken and a load of noodles. This is an everytime occurrence. I've called about it once or twice before, when I opened our food and we had what I know was not even half a serving. But it's always "we give portioned scoops". This store fills you up with rice, and though I'm not entirely sure, I'm guessing it's so they can pro-long having to make fresh batches of noodles and meat. Everytime we've come here if there's a female drive through employee, they're extremely rude. I'm not there for conversation or to make friends, so I don't necessarily care if you're "nice" to me, but you can hand people their food without saying "here" and closing the window before we can say thankyou. Drive-thru is usually quick, and the food is usually hot. I'm sure I'd get the "if you don't like it don't eat here" comments, but I can't avoid this place because my mini loves it, and it's a nice change from time to time. I rave about good businesses and hate writing bad reviews, but this store needs better customer service training. And also.. (more importantly).. you signed up for the hourly wage, just give me my full scoop 😩

My 8 yr old found a long hair at the bottom of her noodles. I called & there was no concern in the voice of the female who answered. Bring them back & we'll replace them. She basically ate most of it. Says just bring the receipt in then for a refund. No apology. No utter disgust that a child ate contaminated food. We all immediately stopped eating when she found the hair. I emailed corporate & it's been nearly 2 weeks, no response from the original we'll look into it. You've lost our business permanently & I'll be sharing our experience on local social media so the community knows. Update: I finally got a response from corporate 2 months later offering free food. They can keep it

My experience sucked! I ordered the large plate of black Angus pepper steak. Take a look at the picture, not an ounce of peppers but extra mushrooms. I called back to the Panda Express in Portage, IN, inquiring to, as why I had no peppers. The worker stated that they were out. I understand that, but she could have explained or warned me when I placed the order, but she says they don't warn you. Well ,to my surprise, no peppers when I got home. It is very wrong to withhold items from an order when you think you are getting the real deal. Wendy's warn you when they have no lettuce. I am very pussed! My heart was set those peppers!!!!

I ordered 4 bigger plates. When we placed the first two the girl who was taking the order asked which sides we wanted. We had asked for the chow-mein. The other 2 plates the girl never asked us what the sides wanted. When we had order all the same entrees for the first two and the second two she seemed really frustrated by that and stated that it would be at least 20 minute wait for our food. My friend and I said that was fine.

When we arrived at the window to pay for our order we advised to the guy in the window that the person taking our order did not ask us about the additional sides. We asked him if he could make sure they were the super greens and the rice. He said that he would change it on the receipt and let them know. He did not change it on the receipt and pulled us up.

It did take about 20 minutes; which is fine. We always order a lot of food and are used to waiting. When the girl gave us our food there was not 3 entrees on any plate. There may have been 2 and all the sides were chow-Mein. I understand that mistakes are made and I went inside to get this fixed. The girl was not very nice to me when I asked her if it looked like it was 3 entrees. She said oh they were 3? I showed her my receipt and told her that all my sides were chow-mein. The location did not have enough of the super greens so I waited another 10 minutes. All my food was cold by time I got home. She did not apologize. She kept saying how busy they were. When I first arrived it was not busy. I challenge you to check you cameras and transaction history during this time. I am not sure if this girl is in charge at night, but if she is she should not be because she can’t make corrections to orders in a friendly way.

This has been my first visit to this location in over a year. I stopped coming because they told me that the company had discontinued the sweet fire chicken. I found out that this was a lie. Based off of this visit and the lies I have been told I will be ordering from a Chinese restaurant down the street. They have it ready in 15 minutes and it is correct; plus they are super friendly and happy to have my business.

I hope whoever takes this complaint takes it seriously and takes corrective action in this store. I hope you...

The service is poor and extremely slow! It should not take 30 minutes to receive fast food! This is not a one-off either. It is consistently slow.

Update 2 years later:

I did a mobile order because it’s easy, I can collect my points quickly, and keep everything in one place. I went through the drive-thru for the ā€œASAPā€ order, figuring that it could be made as quick as someone who was ordering in the drive-thru. The employee speaking through the speaker was extremely rude and cut me off saying, ā€œyour food isn’t ready yet, you need to come insideā€. There’s no way to go inside as cars are stuck in the drive thru as soon as they pull in. I waited for 2 cars to pass ahead of me and asked for the food. The employee was still rude and said my food wasn’t ready and that I needed to come inside. I asked to cancel my order and he replied, ā€œYou just can’t wait a few more minutes, he’s making it right now. Just come inside.ā€ I pulled over to write this complaint and almost immediately when I put my car in park, an employee comes out with my food. It’s already frustrating dealing with a rude employee but it’s even more frustrating to have been inconvenienced by the employee being dramatic and having me pull over to ā€œcome insideā€ for nothing. I don’t trust the food after this poor encounter so I threw it away and want my money back. I also recorded the interaction...
