One of my favorite flavors of dessert is Black Sesame. When I discovered that this place serves it Cheesecake style and in Latte form, I had to go try it. Both items did not disappoint. The flavors are well balanced and not overly sweet.
The cream on top of the latte is very rich and thick, once you swirl the drink a few times it incoporates into the coffee nicely giving it a velvet texture. I recommend first sipping the cream before mixing.
The cheesecake comes with what seems to be the korean maramaldes(?) that you mix to drink for sore throats. I wasn't sure if it would clash with the nuttiness of the black sesame flavor but it did not. In fact, it complimented the cheescake nicely giving it nice freshness.
When I check out a new coffee shop I always like to test the drip coffee, black, with no cream or sugar. We drink several cups of black coffee every morning at home, so if drip is good, I will buy their beans to brew at home. We did not end up getting any beans.
Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop and would love to see more Asian flavors served in cafes and as desserts in the...
Read moreI came in on regular weekdays as well as an pop-up cheesecake dessert event and I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences!
Atmosphere: Well lit, comfortable and inviting for all with plenty of seating to work, catch up with friends or people watch. I can see myself pop in for a caffeine boost or stick around for a longer duration:
Drinks: I have tried the sea salt latte (my personal favorite), pour over (amazing), black sesame latte, pistachio latte, matcha latte, drip and you can’t go wrong with any of these. All drinks are solid, just pick to your preferences!
Dessert: Came for a pop up event and the cheesecakes do not disappoint!!! So fresh, delicious and beautiful to look at! ;)
Staff: Very friendly, helpful and you can tell they really take much care of the shop!
Overall, will definitely come back...
Read moreThe coffee served here alongside with the skill of their barista's makes a drink that will have you coming back again and again! After trying this place for the first time I got a latte like I usually do when trying out a new coffee place and it tasted absolutely fantastic.
There were a good amount of pastry options available to pair your coffee with. The space is pretty small but there are some outside seats to aid if it's super busy. The service was really welcoming and nice which I always appreciate. The only thing that I wish could be changed is the inside decor is super bright, it's lowkey hard on the eyes lol but maybe that's just me.
You should definitely come and enjoy this coffee shop. The barista who made my drink did an amazing job and the coffee itself tasted beautiful....
