Super chill spot, second time here, at 1030am on a Saturday. Guessing they might be busier during the week? If you're at Playdate pdx nearby and need a real espresso drink, come check these folks out. I appreciate being asked light or dark roast cause I like to taste the coffee in my cappuccino. Will remember this moment of refuge from the kiddo/parent madness this Saturday morning. Thank you!

Would be a great place to get some work done or read. Lots of different seating options: counter/bar stools, tables, a couch, and a back area with counter/bar stools. Not a big spot, but good use of space and they roast on site, right...

I ordered a 5lb bag of the pearl district blend it was supposed to be a medium dark roast, it was very over roasted and so oily that I kept having to help the beans feed in to the grinder. It reminded me of the coffee you are sold in the grocery store sliding down the clear tubes stuck to the sides with oil. The bag arrived in about a week and a half without a roast date. After talking to the company they asked if they could send a replacement, I agreed, the replacement wasn't much better still very far from med-dark. You can feel the love and expertise flowing from the coffee and the baristas here. Excellent service. Excellent drinks. Very calming atmosphere.

The baristas were flexible, knowledgeable, and keen on making my large order go as smoothly as possible, even lending me a large basket to transport my carriers in.

I can say after making constant commercial coffee runs to several cafe's in the area over the last few weeks ~ I'd certainly recommend Cycle Town Roasters before any other...
