Read moreThis place is the definition of a hidden gem!! Super tiny family-run business, they basically only do about 8-10 dishes but they do them VERY well. Best of all, they have vegan options! This might be a hot take for Portland but Little Pig's tofu banh mi is hands down the BEST in town. It's a perfect balance of fresh veggies, tofu, sauce, crunchy-flaky-pillowy-soft baguette, a bite of heat from the jalapenos... SO good! My friends and I usually split a side of chive cakes too, they're an excellent addition of crispy-soft flavor (especially when they're still hot from the fryer). The flavors remind me of some of the small hole-in-the-wall eateries you'd have in alleyways in Bangkok (I was a dish-washer at one). You could taste the smokiness and the heat from the wok.
