Navigating Portland's bustling café scene can sometimes feel like a caffeine-laden treasure hunt. But every so often, you stumble upon a gem that stands out from the rest, a café that brews not just great coffee but also radiates a profound sense of inclusivity. Yordprom Coffee is one such place.
From the moment you step through the doors of Yordprom, you are swept up in a wave of warmth, both literal and metaphorical. The aromatic allure of freshly brewed coffee wafts through the air, making a delightful first impression.
Their coffee, quite simply, is in a league of its own, surpassing even well-known spots like Tandem Coffee. Each sip is a testament to the care, craft, and quality Yordprom pours into their brews.
But Yordprom Coffee is not just about their exceptional beverages. The breakfast sandwiches are an absolute revelation. Toasted to perfection, layered with fresh, flavorful ingredients, they arrive at your table hot, unlike my experiences elsewhere. They're a delightful morning indulgence that I find myself craving time and time again.
The real heart of Yordprom, however, lies not just in its culinary prowess but in its commitment to creating an inclusive space. It shines as a beacon of acceptance and positivity in the community, fostering a welcoming environment that is unequivocally LGBTQ+ friendly. It's more than just a café - it's a place where everyone, regardless of their identity, can find a safe and comfortable spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a scrumptious breakfast sandwich.
In a city brimming with coffee shops, Yordprom Coffee has carved out its own niche with its exquisite beverages, phenomenal breakfast fare, and most importantly, its respect and support for the LGBTQ+ community. It's not just a café - it's a haven of hospitality and acceptance. A visit to Yordprom Coffee isn't just about grabbing a coffee, it's about experiencing a café that truly understands and cherishes...
Read moreThe worst breakfast sandwich in Portland. Iâve been to Yordprom a few times now and itâs always been relatively expensive but the quality of the food made up for it. However, something has changed. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Paid $10 (!!!) for just a breakfast sandwich that was about the size of a quarter and wasnât very good. Amazingly, I got one of the cheaper breakfast sandwiches. There was one that was $13! Honestly, just go to a gas station and get a breakfast sandwich because itâll probably be better and way cheaper. Also had a croissant which was stale and had the consistency of cardboard. Lastly, I had a chai tea which tasted like someone put grass in hot water. The tea was so scolding hot I had to wait thirty minutes before it was even drinkable.
This place is legit awful. Any other breakfast place, coffee shop, or cafe is a better option. Itâs way too expensive, food and drinks are of poor quality, and the portion sizes are legit that of a Soviet gulag. Avoid...
Read moreDon't be discouraged by the exterior. If you want good coffee, tasty breakfast, and quick service with no lines, Yordprom ticked all those boxes for us. We took a chance on it after waiting in line for too long at a Bakery further up and we were very happy with how buttery and flaky the ham and cheese croissant was and the softness and creaminess of the avocado bagel. As Australians, we can be picky with our coffee and I thought it was also a decent cappuccino. The setting was basic but it was fairly priced and we were welcomed with a smile and friendly goodbyes, so to us that was worth it compared to a more stylish/modern option that's too busy and overcharges. Thanks for the friendly service and...
