Really great little bar area with an awesome location. My girlfriend and I stopped here on our last trip to Maine and just happened to stumble upon this place. We were lucky we did.

To start, it seems like a pretty easy to miss spot - especially with all of the larger restaurants surrounding the area. For us, this was great because it meant that there was no wait time to be seated. Service was also quick, attentive, and willing to make beer recommendations. My girlfriend and I ordered two beers - a blueberry beer for her and an IPA for myself. Both tasted good and were reasonably priced. They have a wide selection of beer, which allows for even the pickiest of beer drinkers to find something.

As for food, my girlfriend ordered a Lobster Roll and I went for a Burger with a bunch of additions (Maple Aioli, Bacon, Cheese, and a few other toppings). The Lobster Roll was pretty average and overpriced - it is much easier to find better lobster in the area. I blame my girlfriend for that decision though, as this place clearly specialized in burgers and beers. As for my burger, it was amazing - one of the best that I've had from a restaurant in a while. I highly recommend adding bacon and the maple aioli as they complement each other perfectly. If I were to go back (and I'm sure I will), I'd definitely recommend getting one of these incredible burgers. You won't regret it.

Overall, a great place with delicious food, helpful staff, and a comfy pub atmosphere. If you're feeling like a burger and beer, this should be...

I have made so many amazing memories at this bar over the past several years, but I gotta say, I'm a bit nervous what the new ownership has in store.

I come here for the amazing draft list and reasonable prices, but when I visited in July 2025, I was served one of the most horrendous looking IPAs (Goodfire CMYK which I confirmed at the brewery the next day looks and tastes completely different). The bartender even had the gall to say "one of the best beers on draft" as he handed it to me". Was he hoping I knew nothing about beer? It smelled like chemicals and tasted like the keg had sat in the back of the basement for years. A beer that looks like that should never, ever be served to a customer by any establishment that wants respect.

I really hope this isn't the...

Last night was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the chef’s hot sauce & truffle fries at 10:45pm. As time went on, I watched others who ordered after me get their food before me…. Our server literally GAVE my fries to one of his friends passing, and then came up to me and told me they “lost the ticket.” And THEN, he wouldn’t print another ticket because the kitchen closed at 11 and it was about 11:04 at this point. He refunded the CC and apologized. He said he’s been there for two years and this has “never happened.” So why DID it happen? I was so excited and so hungry! He could have handled the situation better; maybe not just give away my food and give me a credit to the...

We've visited this place many times for a pint or two, but this was our first time trying their burgers, and they definitely lived up to the hype as the best—and at $8 the most affordable—burger in Portland. The burger is incredibly flavorful, with pickled onions adding the perfect touch. I added spicy mayo, and it was generously squeezed on top, making it a multiple-napkin meal. An order of fries is huge and could easily feed three people, with the Cajun fries delivering a pleasantly surprising kick of heat. Note: There is no public Wi-Fi, and the location in an old historic building causes poor cell service. We stopped here on a tour for the lobster roll and some blueberry beer. This lobster roll was delicious! We had one somewhere else the day prior and it was nothing special but this one was just so good! If I had any room for more, I would have kept coming back here for that! We also tried Orono Wicked Blueberry Ale which lived up to its name - you could really taste the blueberry. It is a great little bar with a rustic feel, old wood floors, exposed beams, low ceilings. Certainly worth a visit and do not sleep on the lobster roll!!
