I think I wrote one of the first reviews on this place and have come here semi regularly after hockey games. Tonight, they ran out of chances. It was stunningly terrible. 4 of us came to enjoy a few drinks and have dinner. Me and my wife ordered a Cosmo, a Long Island Iced Tea, a California Roll and Chicken Lo Mein. When we left an hour and 45 minutes later, we were served NONE of what we ordered! First, we stayed so long as we were having good conversation after a good hockey game. Secondly, after the other two in our party got their beers, we asked for the second time to switch to a beer as none of the staff knew how to make a mixed drink! So much for fog cutters and mai-tais! An hour into our conversation we were becoming painfully aware, that our dinner order was never put in. They apologized and put it in. Twenty minutes later, one of our appetizers arrived and after a couple of minutes they brought him a table setting......for one! It didn't take long to figure out that they only keyed in his appetizer, not the 5 other things that our party ordered for dinner! Needless to say, I was fuming and as the evening closed and that "manager" came buy, I asked "Do I own anything for this??" (Meaning the one beer that me and my wife received over 100 minutes) and she produced a check for those beers! I paid the exact amount without leaving a penny tip and told the manager that it was an extremely disappointing visit and we will not be coming here again. Total disaster and, no, I do not recommend this...

My girlfriend and I went for dinner on Saturday night. We figured we'd try out a new restaurant in town! For us, getting drinks wasn't so much of a problem (except my girlfriend did finish her wine and was never asked if she wanted anything else). My beers got to me fairly quickly. Anyway, after waiting a while we ordered our meals. Hers came out after quite a bit of time had passed and mine was nowhere to be seen. I ordered hibachi while she ordered sushi. After a while, the bartender went back to check on my food and he said the chef told him it would be "two minutes". Probably at least 20 more minutes goes by and my food finally came. Definitely was not worth the wait at all. While waiting for my food, I was just observing the lack of service that customers were receiving. There was one waitress (actually the one who took our order) who seemed to be running around and trying to take care of things, but that was about it. People were waiting forever, going without drinks, not being greeted, etc. It was honestly a nightmare seeing the lack of customer service. I saw at least a few people leave after not being served or greeted after some time had passed. Disappointing when you spend a lot of money and want to support a...

Decided to try this place out with a couple of friends last night. We sat at the bar. The bartender, who was only moderately busy, was unfriendly and seemed put out to fix us drinks. He let us know someone else would be over to take our order. When no one showed up, he told us a second time that someone would be right over. We waited for about 20 minutes longer until a waitress came by. One friend ordered pad Thai, the other ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and a pork bowl. I ordered an asparagus roll for an appetizer and udon noodle soup. Some time later, the pad Thai came out. Nothing else. My friend sat there awkwardly waiting for our food to arrive. When it didn’t, we told her to eat before the plate got cold. Her report was that the pad Thai was very fishy and inedible - probably heavy handed with the fish sauce. A little while later the spring rolls came out. Those were pretty good. My asparagus roll never appeared. About 30 minutes later, when no other food was brought over we decided to pay for the drinks, the little food we’d had, and go elsewhere. As soon as we paid the bill my soup came out but still no pork bowl. We had a delicious meal at another restaurant...

So the reviews that are posted are very mixed in a wide spectrum. We decided to give this place a try since the overall rating was good. When we walked in, it was almost empty except a few customers. Our server was very enthusiastic and wonderful! Following his recommendations, we got a ramen and sushi. Like other reviewers stated, they give a LOT of fish for their sushi. Unfortunately it didn’t feel the freshest to me and my stomach was upset later. I also didn’t like the fake wasabi (horseradish). The ramen broth was good but salty. I was definitely not impressed with the ramen and a side of pork katsu which wasn’t the authentic style pork I was expecting for a Japanese ramen. Overall, it wasn’t as bad as some reviews stated but I also would agree the food just did not deliver the taste and authenticity I was expecting.

The service was welcoming, polite and very pleasant. She answered all my questions with a smile and checked back on me a couple of time I wish the food was as good, however. The ramen was warm, bordering on room temperature. Rather than being soft boiled as you'd expect, the egg was one minute away from being hard boiled. The broth probably started out fine, but it was too salty. I suspect this is a result of the over cooked (read dry and tough) pork cutlets included in the dish. They were so salty as to be nearly inedible. When the server asked how I was enjoying my meal, I remarked on how salty it was. She smiled and nodded apparently pleased with my assessment. I probably wouldn't revist this restaurant in the future.

Beyond confused as to how this place has 4 stars. My friends and I NEVER leave food on the plates/waste food. But this sushi was so bad we took two bites and had to stop. Do not order the sashimi unless you like to eat just giant chunks of sub par not so fresh fish. The rolls and sashimi (as others have mentioned but we truly wanted to give it a shot because of the good reviews!!) are TOO BIG to even enjoy. Also drenched in sauce. Truly not edible. Only decent things we tried were the hot sake and the ramen was just okay. Seriously try anywhere else as there are so many places.
