Went to the drive thru last night my son wanted a root beer float. No problem we ordered it and the person taking our order didn’t seem to think it would be a problem. Paid for my food four meals and some other items $56 dollars! Then get to the window and they hand me the smallest bag filled right to the top! So can’t close it to keep anything warm and the girl at the window says here is your root beer. So I nicely said oh that should be a root beer float! She says to me well than you have to pay for the ice cream. I said well we ordered it and I would have paid for it if it was rang up correctly, So she proceeds to tell me they don’t do root beer floats at their location. Then a young man got off a ladder and said I’m sorry what’s the problem. I explain it and he says he will just keep the root beer and give me a chocolate shake which my son said he would be fine with, so we are waiting for the shake and he comes back over and says he just talked with his other manager and that they can not do that because the shake is more money. I said this is your mistake and I think you should make it right but I will pay the difference. So he tells me he needs my card that I had paid for previously to refund the money for the soda and then he will charge me for the shake! Come on chic fil a this was way harder than it needed to be! Got attitude from the drive thru girl after that when I asked for my other drinks after we finished all of that! And not once did anyone say my pleasure or did I feel like it was their pleasure to serve me! All I have to say is DO BETTER!!!! Oh and I get home and they forgot my husbands spicy chicken sandwich which was because the bag was so filled I couldn’t look through it to see if everything...
Read moreWhen I arrived there was just one occupied table of two people and they were eating. There was no one in line. When I walked to the cashier they made eye contact but ignored me. (no one said hello or even let me know they will be right with me) their were 4 workers behind the register only one was getting food for the drive thru.. The rest was just chatting with each other. I wait for 2 mins before someone took my order. After I placed my order.. I went to go wash my hands. I sat down at my table for 3 mins waiting for them to notify me that my order was ready. But nothing... So I went to stand at the pickup area and waiting for another 5 mins while two managers talking to each other whom was standing 4 feet away from me ignored me the whole time. While 4 workers walking in and out talking to each other also ignoring me. When someone finally helped me (I saw my order sitting at the shelf the whole time I was standing there). The floors in the restaurant was greasy and very slippery. When I was heading to the door to leave... A manager was walking toward the exit at the same time. He was 2 feet away from me and didn't held the door for me, he let the door swing shut in my face. (I had a sling, so one of my arm was not accessible). While I was leaving I held the door open for someone exiting... The same manager walked back in so I held the door for him but he didn't even say thank you.. Just ignored me.. I had a horrible experience at this location. Not sure if I was treated this way due to my race... Very disappointed at the staff and...
Read moreOk so chick fil a is pretty much always 5 stars for the great food. However my one gripe about this place is that I've consistently heard managers berating or talking down to the employees while I am sitting at the window waiting for my food. I think the food is good and most of the staff I've dealt with are very nice However, CHICK FIL A was my first job and there was a similar issue at that location with a couple overzealous managers really ruining the employees days and honestly just kind of being mean. Then we had 2 or 3 amazing managers and the stores were always cleaner and the food moved quicker due to good leadership. It's a matter of professionalism to not be rude to your employees or to discipline them in front of customers and their peers. Honestly it kind of upset me to hear that while I was waiting on my meal. Disappointed in management for that, it's usually been a female manager talking to younger female employees and I believe I've noticed her there in the mornings more often then the afternoons but I've noticed her behavior...
