When it comes to McDonald's, it's true that expectations are often set at a certain level. However, the McDonald's in Powdersville, South Carolina, managed to exceed those expectations and pleasantly surprise us with their fantastic customer service. Our visit on the evening of June 25, 2023, left us impressed and satisfied.
To begin with, we decided to place our order via the app, which is always a convenient option. While the food took a bit longer than expected to reach us, the wait was made worthwhile by the exceptional service we received. The shift manager, in particular, stood out for their friendliness and willingness to ensure that we had a positive experience. Their attentive and accommodating approach added a personal touch that made us feel welcome and appreciated.
Moreover, the atmosphere of the restaurant itself was among the best we have encountered in fast food joints. There was a warmth and friendliness in the air that created a pleasant environment for dining. It's not often that you find such a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-food establishment, and it made our visit all the more enjoyable.
While the food may have been a bit slow in arriving, the overall experience at this McDonald's in Powdersville was more than satisfactory. The outstanding customer service, exemplified by the friendly shift manager, along with the inviting atmosphere, left a lasting positive impression on us.
In conclusion, this particular McDonald's location in Powdersville, South Carolina, demonstrated that even within the fast-food industry, exceptional customer service and a pleasant dining experience can be achieved. If you find yourself in the area, I would definitely recommend giving this...
Read moreHey McDonalds! So listen, I’ve had a difficult night. I’m not trying to be that person who gives bad reviews out of anger or frustration but I would like for you to hear me out.
So I went to Fall For Greenville tonight, what an awesome event our town puts on! I had hopes of enjoying great food, music and games for my family and I. Although we did enjoy our night out downtown I found out quickly that the food lined were long and my children (ages 12-4) wanted to spend their time at the jump houses and carnival games. We left with not much food on our bellies. Yes, I know, poor planning on our part.
We chose to stop at a drive through on our way home to feed our restless children and ourselves. Where else would we stop. McDonalds, It’s a crowd pleaser!!!
Anyways, we drove up around 9pm ish. Placed our order for 6 people, drove up to the first window to pay, then to the second. After receiving half our food, we were asked to drive back through the drive thru to pick up our fries. Yasss!!! HOT FRESH FRIES coming our way!
Not exactly. See we live about 4 miles from your store and about 2 miles into the ride home I dug into the bag of fries like any good mom would do, only to discover the fries were cold and stale.
I understand that it was later in the evening and food may have been sitting out for a while but, dang. C’mon! Y’all got my hopes up for some hot fresh fries when you asked me to pull back around... do you see my disappointment???
It was already a disappointing evening, why else would I be going to McDonalds that late in the evening?
Please, do better. That is all I’m asking. Don’t get a girls hopes up for some hot fresh fries and then disappoint me like that.
Xoxo your...
Read moreToday's visit and poor service was the last straw. I placed a mobile order and when my order was brought to my car I was told the drink I purchased was not available. The young man that brought me my order quickly asked what I wanted instead and before I could answer he's walking away. I had to yell loudly what I wanted as he entered the building. I then waited, at least 4 minutes, and still no drink. I then proceeded to go inside to ask where my drink was. Oh...here it is. At that time my food was getting cold and so I no longer wanted my meal or the drink. It was as if I was bothering them. I asked for a refund, which I was quickly given. Also, my food was horrible, the McChicken was smashed and the fries were over cooked, they were very hard. This was the third time in two weeks I've had a problem with my order from this location. My husband and I did a mobile order and pulled into the curbside slot. We waited 8 minutes and still no sign of our order. I called the restaurant and asked where our curbside order was. Oh, let me check, oh, here it is, we will be right out with it. It was another 4 minutes before our order was delivered. The person bringing it out didn't smile, gave us a half hearted (insincere apology) and hurried back inside. A few days before that, I did a mobile order for curbside pickup and I waited over 7 minutes before pulling through the drive thru. I am done ordering food at this location, and so are the rest of my family. It's a little further of a drive to go to the one in Easley but I will try that one...
