Horrible customer service. I came in with my husband so he could use his gift card I purchased for him as a Christmas gift. The gift card they gave me was hand written, not the plastic kind. When we paid, we gave the employee his gift card and we were told we couldn't use it and she couldnt take it because "we made it at home". After explaining that we weren't going to lose out on our money spent when buying the gift card and asking to speak to the manager (who we were never able to speak to) we were told they will take it "this one time". On our way out of the door the employee yelled across the bar "Next time don't come back with one of these. I hope you enjoyed your free food!!" It was embarrassing and degrading. No one should be treated in such a manner. We will never return and suggest you do not give these people your business if this is how they're going to treat...
Read moreI really enjoy this neighborhood meeting place and watering hole. When you walk you feel comfortable immediately, I think. The staff and the people enjoying themselves there are welcoming and friendly. The drinks are good and food is served there. I enjoy the building as well with it's older wooden porch and the wooden railings and latticed overhead, as well as the pressed tin squared ceiling and overhead ceiling fans.
