Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Prattville

I drove from Atlanta, Ga. to treat my grandson. The food was not as good as I remembered. But the last time I visited CiCi was over five years ago and the location was Indiana. The workers were nice but seemed disconnected and nervous. I placed my order and was charged more than twice for the meals. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and was told she did not see the issue. However, I noted that workers were staring at our party and talking. I initiated a conversation and was told that I needed to pay for my meals. explained that my card had been charged too much. My words fell on deaf ears. I understand that I am guilty until proven innocent. I paid for the meal again. The manager Claudette assured me that if I had been overcharged, she would refund my payment with no hesitancy. The occurrence was 8/5/23. Monday the transaction posted, which meant I had paid twice as much for my meals. I reached out to Claudette and followed her instructions to obtain my refund. I did not receive it. I called the next day and she informed me that she had not forgotten about me and she would keep me updated. The update did not occur. I reached out to her again (8/8/23) and she told me she was not working that day. However, her manager had instructed her on the steps required to refund my money and she would do so first thing in the morning. It is 3:46 pm EST and I have not received my refund. I sent a text to Claudette and received no response. I called Claudette and received no answer. I left a voicemail and decided to also leave a review. I had the worst lunch there possible My uncle took my 4 boys,husband and I to lunch today and two of our boys ate for free bc the age. The lady gave us cups for them. As we are seating there eating the lady named Tina came over with just a rude attitude and said did y’all pay for them drinks. My uncle said yes I payed for kid drinks. Then I walked up to get some buffalo chicken pizza and asked for a small cup to put some ranch in. (They use to have small clear cups for that) she then again was rude and said there right here and pointed at the big cups for the Pasta and I didn’t need that much ranch. So I went to sit down and a child walked by me and said if you open your eyes maybe you’ll see the cups. ( it was her child there getting smart with me and she didn’t even know what was going on). So we continue to let my kids eat next thing you know another lady came and said that we were causing trouble and if we get another complaint that she would have to ask us to leave. At that point we were pissed and we were already almost done eating anyway so we left and asked for corporates number and will be calling them. We stopped going a while ago bc the food wasn’t that good but bc that’s where my uncle wanted to go we decided to try it again and we all wish we never went. I promise we will never be back at this location ever. I just could not believe how we were treated. And the fact that her child got involved and didn’t even know what she was talking about. Carrots for the salad should be the matchstick type; shredded like in the salad mix or at least sliced .. try forking those whole, raw carrots. Chairs, chairs n more chairs .. everywhere. The remodel is nice but the booth type set up worked better .. it is always crowded and now even more difficult to navigate through the sea of chairs that are never at their table. Birthday parties .. for the love of cake, can't there be a designated section, such as the far corner by the windows, where a party sets up! While we were there a party had 4 tables for seating right through the middle n 2 to the side with all the gifts n misc stacked on it .. party blowers n balloons popping right beside you while you eat. Trash receptacle .. couldn't the hole be just a little larger .. most of the eaters are children .. have you watched how they try so hard to clear their plates through a hole smaller than the plate? Some type of supervision in the game room .. my granddaughter was playing a game, her "prize" fell and birthday party "princess" stuck her hand in to grab my granddaughter's toy .. my adult daughter was there with her n stopped the little girl who was all of maybe 5.
