Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Prattville

June 6th, I placed an order at 12:08PM that indicated it would be ready for pickup at 12:18PM. Arrived at 12:24PM and the smoothie was prepared, still waiting for the sandwich and chips. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, and seeing people that ordered after my arrival receiving their food, I went to the counter and asked if the ticket that was previously under my smoothie was being prepared. Response was, "We don't have turkey" and then she went back to preparing other customers' meals. Cashier wasn't interested in helping either. Waited another 20-30 seconds to confirm nobody cared about trying to fulfill my order with an alternative option and then walked out with just the smoothie. Had a meeting starting at 1:00PM and could not waste any more time trying to receive compensation or food. I've already submitted this to Tropical Smoothie online and called the 1-800 number so no need to waste your time suggesting that. Franchise owner obviously is not interested in trying to maintain a quality business with customer service.

We are not locals, yet like to eat at the location (off Cobb Ford Rd/across from Target in Prattville, Alabama) a few times a month. My family love the smoothies, wraps and Flatbread. We also love this location is the closest distance to where I live. With this order, we ordered 2 cookies, a quesadilla, and chicken pesto. My chicken pesto wrap was beyond torched/burnt. I took what was salvagable to place on a tortilla at home. The cookies that came with the order were not received. This is not the first time something happened to my order. I had hoped this visit would not have been the same. Sadly, this is the finally time of attempting to eat at this location. I will drive have to drive to the Birmingham market with hopes of having a better experience and better prepared food. BEWARE: Went to this location on February 2nd, 2023 to return the food ordered. Once opened and bitten into the Thai Wrap had hairs in it. Upon seeing this the person I was with threw up what they had already eaten of theirs. I returned all the food, showed them the hairs embedded in the wrap (to which the girl behind their counter mentioned she had hair in her food also last week) and requested a refund and was told because it was an online order it would have to go to the district manager. I've been waiting and continue to wait and have contacted the store once since being told the same thing - you should see it in 2 or 3 days, . SO BE AWARE of possible hairs in your food and management NOT making it right when there is. Cost of 2 Thai wraps and 2 smoothies, with jalapeno corn was $28.34. All I wanted was my money back for food we couldn't eat not even for the smoothies. Bad...
