Restaurant goers beware. It is not worth it.
We were seated immediately, which was great.
However, our waitress took around 5 minutes just to acknowledge us and take our drink orders, without asking about appetizers or giving us a chance to even order any, which being busy, is understandable...
Wait another 10 minutes, and she brings a basket of rolls finally. No drinks yet. No plates for the rolls, so we used the napkins our silverware was in. (We never were even offered plates for them.)
Wait longer. My husband and I get our drinks, and our daughter is told hers is still being made. No straws by the way.
Another 10 minutes goes by, and she finally gets our daughter her drink and then she asks us if we need MORE TIME or are ready to order. Of course we tell her we are ready to order, also finally giving us our straws.
It takes 10 minutes before just a salad is delivered, and another 30 minutes before we get our food, and I kid you not, right when we were about to get up to leave and ask for our check for the drinks and the salad, we see a different person rushing our food to us. I literally took a NAP waiting on our food, it took so long.
Oh, and they were missing one of our sides ordered for one of the meals, so we had to ask for it.
Meanwhile, the table beside us that got there around the same time we did has had 2 baskets of rolls, food delivered and drinks, refills, and a $10 giftcard from management!
Oh, and they had someone join them while we were waiting on our food. I had told my husband if they got their food before we did, since they had barely been there, that I was walking out period.
Their food and drinks were served in less than 20 minutes total of their being there, which was right after we got our food at this point.
Meanwhile, during this time, we got the one basket of rolls, which was emptied, and she TOOK a while after being emptied without offering any more, the finished salad bowl, ZERO DRINK REFILLS, and received food that, the sides were cold, the steak that was ordered medium was well done and inedible, tasting like burnt rubber, our daughter's sliders had burnt bits on them that made her not want to eat them, and overall an unenjoyable Veteran's Day lunch.
Oh, and the waitress was on her phone standing in a corner most of the times that we were waiting for our orders, as well as the tables around us that she was 'conveniently' serving slower than others that were being given giftcards and such.
We will...
Read moreDisappointing. Passing through the area in route to FL. Friendly hostess, said it was a five minute wait, it was. Were seated, waitress arrive and introduced herself, quite, timid. Two for $14 stop at five, disappointed since there was a large banner advertising it. I ordered "anything & everything" salad. Pretty good, great chicken on the salad. Wife's prime rib came out looking like it was old, dry, cool. Mostly fatty, could not cut with their steak knife. Was fat was separated from meat, it was about 5-8 bites. Not work $18 bucks. Asked waitress to exchange it for a nice steak worth the price. Very stiff answer, 'yes sir we will do that'. Manager happened to walk by and asked if everything was okay. I told him the waitress was getting us another steak. He hurriedly went to see where it was. When it came out, it was an end cut. End cuts are not the most desirable piece of a prime rib, unless someone wanted a well done piece. Hers was to be medium. Again, very tough fat, much less edible meat than the price was worth. Her mac n cheese looked to be setting in a steamtable pan for hours, but was cool to the taste. At the end, after the waitress finally brought us the bill, she said the manager saw that my wife had hardly eaten any of the second steak so he was taking it off the bill. Their attempt to satisfy us was welcomed, but lack of concern about making our meal a dinning experience, it seam like they lacked training of how to handle such situations. The waitress always has the ability to make a poor meal better, through service, communication, attitude, etc., but the manager always should show care and concern to the customers and make each and every experience for the customer a pleasurable one. We felt that we were un needed as a customer at their restaurant. Even though they tried to make it right, it could have been handled with much more concern from those serving. If I pass this way again, it will not be at Logans, but have had many a pleasurable experience at other Logan's...
Read moreUsually, a decent place to eat in the past. However, our last visit was very off-putting.
The salad came without anything more than lettuce and was drenched in dressing. No onions, cheese, tomatoes, or CROUTONS. Simply lettuce and dressing.
Dinner came out. The steak was cooked as ordered but had way more gristle than any steak I've ever had. It was very tough to chew and extremely hard to cut. Took the other half home. TMJ sufferers beware, I'm one. The other plate was over-fried. The two baked potatoes were old and cool, nothing past lightly warm to the touch.
Now to the rolls that we have all grown to love. Each one was tiny and flat. Hard to cut in half to put butter in them, just that flat. But that's not all, we had to literally ask if they still came with dinner. They did but only after we had asked and not automatically brought out at the start of being seated. We received ours after the main course was delivered.
The drinks were fine. Water is included with alcoholic cocktails. Beer was served in a bottle, no chilled mug. The mixed cocktail was perfect. Were we asked for a second beer, no. The mixed cocktail was enough for dinner but another beer would have been appreciated if our party had been asked.
We were never asked about dessert in which we inquired about one at the time of ordering our main course. They lost sales on two desserts.
With all the other choices of steakhouses all within a minute or two away, Logans has certainly dropped the ball on quality and service. Will we be back? Very unsure after our last visit.
Customers come into Logans to spend more than a dollar or two for food, this isn't a cheap quick bite, so we want and expect quality food and service. Unfortunately due to having a big heart, we tipped as though we had good service.
The next time we go out for steaks, we do this twice a week, we will skip Logans and go for a neighboring competitor. What used to be a decent place to eat has left us with another disappointing visit. We will go where our dollar is...
