This is a food truck so the atmosphere of the parking lot it was sitting on wasn't exceptional, very little shade and the truck is at the end of a section that forces a turnaround, larger vehicles are difficult. I got there very close to closing so the mix plate option was probably not a good choice as it seemed like the shredded/pulled pork and chicken had been reheated a few times before. I need to mention that I have limited saliva so I need moist meats, generally speaking pulled or lean meats are not a good choice for me. I plan on going back and having the teriyaki plate next time. The rice was good and would have bee great with some sauce to mix with it, the macaroni salad needed some acid to brighten it up. Read moreI was driving by and saw them open, I’m never usually out when they are so I had decided to stop by, boy was I glad I did. Might be the nicest people in town AND the food was great! I had told Auntie it was my first time stopping by and she immediately had made a suggestion and was overall very helpful. Oh my gosh: yummm! Everything was seasoned perfectly, the mac salad was perfect, and the slice of fresh pineapple was an awesome surprise.
