3 families, 3 terrible experiences! My family ordered and the cashier was very nice. However, our order was wrong and when telling the employees of this, the person behind the counter making the food was annoyed by this and told us they didn't have enough brioche bread to make our orders again, but could instead do it with other bread. We said ok. Then another family, had a similar issues. They ordered their breakfast sandwiches with no bacon, yet they still came with bacon. Another family, order 2 wraps and 2 brioche sandwiches and they gave them all wraps! They order and even asked to review their order TWICE, yet still they managed to not get it right. Another couple, had order 2 brioche sandwiches with no bacon, yet received them with bacon, and their wraps had cheese, when they had ordered them without cheese. They asked if they could get remade and the manager, I presume, slammed down the two plates with food she had in her hand, and sighed out loud like she was annoyed. It was very frustrating having to go through this! I love Panera Bread and love their customer service, but THIS Panera Bread location here, they didn't even bother to apologize or check up on us about it. Please don't come here for your own good! Second time curbside order pick-up was completely botched. I called ahead to verify my order because my order history doesn't list a sandwich (still doesn't weeks later). The order was confirmed. We picked up entire order curbside, verified order on receipt (didn't look inside bag) and returned to hotel. We were missing spoons, had the wrong soup, and was missing the sandwich in question. After a long day of driving and arrival at our hotel, I was disappointed. I quick call to this Panera location told us they would refund cost of sandwich and we could return to pick it up. One of my party returned to get her sandwich, and they provided us a large pastry which we used for breakfast the next several days. They rectified the situation and the manager on the phone was genuinely concerned which is appropriate, but I was disappointed that this happened in the first place.
I feel Panera is terrible (at multiple locations in different states) at including plasticware with orders. I only order on travel where I usually don't have...
Read moreWell, ya know, I decided a while back to no longer patronize this place, mostly because of the thimblefull sized soup, the high prices and because they switched to plastic containers for their salads. But then yesterday I decided to go because I didn't want to go to the regular sit-down place I go to.
I was asked to pull around to the front so they could make my order, waited over 10 minutes before the guy came out, but wouldn't come near me, even though he looked at me several times, but didn't ask. I was going to say something, but decided it wasn't for me. But I guess the reality was he didn't look at me when he talked to me. I talked to the woman next to me who also was asked to pull around right after me and we were both perplexed. I waited another 5 minutes, went in and was finally given my order with no apology, just saying they couldn't find me.
I got home, 15 miles away and they put meat on my sandwich, I'm a vegetarian. I wasn't going back that day. I called and will be getting a free meal, so yeah, I think going back aside from that, won't...
