Baja's Tex Mex Grill — Restaurant in Providence

Went in there with my boyfriend and immediately felt like we were being side eyed. Since it was our first time in there we were taking our time trying to decide on what to get. There was at least 3 hours left before the shop closed so when we were rushed through ordering our first impressions were shattered. When I asked the young woman at the counter where I should order she glanced at me and slowly said "It depends on what you want." Any questions I had were ignored and the gentlemen behind the counter gave me random suggestions instead. For a restaurant that was open until 2 am we felt pretty rushed despite only being there at 10:30. There wasn't a lot of customers in there either. As my boyfriend and I waited for our food I heard the young woman from earlier happily greet another customer with a "Hi, how can I help you today!" Having a restaurant leave a bad taste in the mouth before even trying the food...

Placed an online order for a byo burrito and added on fries for more money but they didn't give me the fries. I called the store to ask for a refund for the fries, I was told they couldn't do that and asked if I could come pick up the fries which I could not do. Again I asked them to just refund me for the fries they forgot to give me. I was asked to hold on while they tried to figure out what they could do and they hung up on me. I called back and could tell ultimately they expected me to give up as they clearly were not going to rectify THEIR mistake in any way that would be convenient to me. Then again I was placed "on hold" which was really the employee sending my call back to the call menu. When I opted to be connected to the store a third time, they didn't answer. Not a fan of Mexican food, but this place is going to get more of my business. I got a chicken burrito. It was HUGE and so flavorful. I put rice, pico, onions, jalapenos and medium sauce on mine. Might have been more stuff but I really don't remember. They were quick to make my burrito, but I was 1 of 2 people ordering. I'm sure late night with all the college kids around it gets crazy. This burrito really filled me up, and that is a feat unto itself. The restaurant is small and with the restrictions put in place due to the unpleasantness that has befallen the world, seating is even more limited, but it was very clean.
