Worst fine dining experience in my life. I booked a reservation at Flemings a MONTH in advance for a surprise Birthday/Anniversary dinner on 10/21. I truly hoped for something intimate and special due to this being my partner’s first fine dining experience. It was our first time here and I was excited when looking at the reviews. Being a former chef and dining in most of the fine dining restaurants in MA and I decided to check out Flemings and surprise him as well. It was truly the biggest mistake I made in my 15 years of fine dining. While making the reservation I intentionally stated I would like this experience to be special and would like the table decorated. I then called on 10/18 and confirmed with staff that a dining room table with confetti and champagne would be in place. The day of 10/21 I was called and confirmed again all the requests were met and added a bottle of champagne to the table to be present when we arrived. When we arrived at 6:30 pm we were made to wait 15 minutes. When we got to the table I was HORRIFIED to see a bare booth table in the bar section with no table cloth, confetti, or champagne. I told the hostess that this was ALL wrong and not what I reserved and confirmed with staff multiple times. She said she would fix the error. We then were told to wait again for another table. Approx. 10 more minutes pass and we were brought back to that SAME bar table with confetti and champagne, no table cloth and again not in the dining room. I asked the hostess if we can be seated in the dining room and was told no. I began to cry at the table and started to walk out before we were met by the AMAZING waiter Rob who profusely apologized. His energy is what saved a small piece of a truly awful experience. Rob’s energy and joy made me comfortable in a completely disrespectful situation. We sat and watched as walk in customers were seated in the dining area. While we were told MULTIPLE times there’s nothing they could do for us. Rob again sees the sadness in my eyes and then said he would speak to a manger. I was met by the owner who again said there’s nothing he could do. I pleaded I could wait for another table, just anything other than a bar table located in the middle of the walkway. However, I was told again they were “booked” even though I planned this a month in advance and corroborated with staff a few hours prior. The owner stated he could ONLY compensate for the champagne bottle and add in a free dessert. I couldn’t even finish my food due to the overwhelming embarrassment I experienced planning this for my partner. After I received compensation for the very few items on the bill, I still paid close to $300 for a naked booth at a “fine dining” restaurant when I could’ve went to Longhorns. I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied...
Read moreOur server Dan saved the experience. We went for our five year anniversary on a Saturday night. It was steady but we were able to get a reservation and table. The menu is not really condusive if you have multiple food allergies but I knew that I would have limited options going in this was more for my other half. Gluten free options are good if you eat meat if you don't you have pretty much just potatoes. Service was amazing however there were some kitchen problems not to the fault of our server. One of our appetizers was forgotten then brought out probably 40+ minutes after ordering when the server went to inform the kitchen. my boyfriend's steak came out very rare when he had ordered midrare it was more black and blue which he sometimes likes but it wasn't what he was in the mood for. They packed the steak to go however while we were waiting for our dessert ( which they gave complimentary not sure if that was from the anniversary or to make up for the other mistakes) we noticed the to go bag never came out. When Dan returned to let us know dessert would be out soon if we didn't mind waiting we mentioned the bag and he went to look for it. Another young man (who I believe was a busser) came out a minute or two later with a bag asking if we were the missing steak. My boyfriend said yes and took the steak thankfully he checked the bag as it was not his leftovers. We are pretty relaxed restaurant goers so it didn't bother us much we were more worried for whoever would have to catch the fallout from whereever his steak went. (To clarify we were positive it was not our steak as we were given a small fillet and my boyfriend had more than half a new york strip with spicy butter on it which made it orange. The steak we received also had parsley on it when the original one did not). When Dan returned he quickly apologized cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood got us some coffee and said he'd be back with dessert and a new steak. All in all we had an amazing experience because of Dan. The food was just alright considering how much we payed and how many mistakes were made but because of our service our anniversary dinner wasn't ruined and we would go back and give it another try. In the end request Dan and make sure you check your...

If you are looking to be WOW’d, you've come to the right place. The setting; a rich steakhouse motif… Dark woods, white linen table service and an orchestra of glasses choreographed on each table… Simply beautiful…
House baked SourDough served warm with a Champagne Infused Smoked Cheddar and Champagne Infused Brie. I'm a sucker for freshly baked bread and baked in house as opposed to bringing in par-baked?, mega points here! Deeeeelicious!
Seafood Chowdah… Creamy base overloaded with generous chunks of seafood that can only be described as a net full of fresh seafood jumping around in your mouth… Fabulous! Between consistency and flavour, it really doesn't get any better than this…
Then the table next to mine sent over the Burrata appetizer for me as a surprise. Unlike any Burrata I've had anywhere else… A pot of Burrata nicely plated with Blistered Cherry Tomatoes, Greens and these incredible Garlic Butter Herbed Toast Points… Not only visually erotic in a FoodPorn kind of way but like food Legos that you need to build… the colors are so vibrantly beautiful you almost feel guilty for eating it!
And for the main this evening… The Chilean Sea Bass… Sautéed and braised in a light SouthWest-style Broth, Wilted Greens, Crisp Potatoes with a Chili-Cilantro Oil… The sides; Spicy Thai Green Beans and Creamed Spinach...Wow! Where do I even begin?! Light in body yet full in flavour like a larger meal… You enter a sort of foodie Nirvana yet when it's over, it's like mini foodgasms that just keep pulsing thruout your palate…
Although the dessert lust was extremely tempting, I opted for just my signature Cappuccino instead… Add that to all of the things they do extremely well. I particularly appreciated the fresh Cinnamon Stick served with it… Nice touch!
My server Cynthia was great with her recommendations and honoring the pace set forth in my dining preferences. Also a nice touch was the manager; Manuel coming over afterwards to make sure that all of my expectations were met. Honestly, they far exceeded them. It was a spectacular dining experience and I will definitely be back. You...
