I am so disappointed in my experience here. My friend made a reservation for her birthday at this restaurant for brunch a month prior to the event, on their social medias it is shown that they provide brunch as a option, when she made the reservation she was told with a bad attitude that they don’t do brunch , but was very much advertised on their social medias, she asked for a manger to call her he then assisted they did do brunch and she asked for a Certain amount of people and a time, the night before the reservation my Friend received a text saying her reservation was canceled, she then called and asked for an explanation and they said that it’s not cancels that they don’t open untill 1pm so we can’t come till then , why this wasn’t expressed a month before is confusing . As well as some staff members not even knowing they serve brunch. We of course changed its to 1pm and as myself and a few others arrive five minutes to 1 go to the door and say we have a reservation they rudely and with much confusion on their face say oh we are closed… walks away and five mins later comes back and says ok your all set were closed but open now. We were five minutes early … as we all sat down for our cocktails we looked at the menu and confusingly and with disappointment there was no more the 4 food choices on the brunch menu … most of the table ordered the same thing which was a eggplant meal not something typical on a brunch menu .. so we tried it out anyway , we received our plates, the description for the meal was nothing like it was presented , this meal was cut into five small RAW pieces of eggplant in a circle with a tiny cup of some sort of spicy sauce in the middle, we assumed it to be cooked in some sort of way with flavor breading spices something ! It just looked like it was cut up and plopped on a plate . The whole table now shocked at what was served to us and completely starving we asked for chips and humus we were brought a small plate of chips and pita bread thag was enough for two people( there was 9 of us) the humus barley covered the bottom of the plate we had to ask for more chips and humus that amounted up to 4 times because it was nothing to feed 9 ppl. We all split the bill and paid 76 dollars each for raw tiny pieces of eggplant and licks of humus , hookah and a few drinks, we all left starving. Completely unacceptable disgusting experience, I will not be going back , try harder , communicate and make a real brunch menu … and give ppl what...
Read moreVery nice place, it’s small and intimate. Definitely good vibes. Our waitress was really nice and friendly(can’t remember her name but she had pretty long black hair) The food was to die for. The drinks are exactly what they have ok their Instagram. The hookah was great and had many varieties of flavor and options. First time I’ve actually liked hummus from a restaurant. Very big portions so best believe you’ll be going home with some food. The only thing that really bothered me was I believe she’s the manager. It’s like she was fake nice. But never and I mean NEVER in my life have I been kicked out a restaurant for being over the 1 hour and 30 minute mark not even during COVID. I thought that table time wasn’t even in effect anymore nor is anything stated anywhere in the restaurant saying there’s a cap time to the table. She basically comes over and goes “How’s everything?” and then goes immediately into “Who is your waitress?” And she was literally about to approach us before the manager then tells her “Can you get them their check?” We were in shock. And the waitress was like “Oh you’re ready to go, you want your check?” Which me and my friend who I was there with really wanted to say uhhh no because we literally just finished our meal and we got the hookah refilled and we’re discussing about getting dessert, we told her yes we were ready as clearly we were been kicked out regardless and then she said to the server “It’s been an hour and a half already”. I used to work in a restaurant so I get you guys being a small place and needed the table tops turned but there’s nicer ways to go about it then to be like yea get their check and basically get out. Other than that experience at the end, everything else was amazing. Maybe best to avoid going there on a weekend date (Friday-Sat) if you want to be there for more than an...
Read moreI had an absolutely terrible first experience and will not be going back. When my group of friends and I walked on the host was assisting a customer on the phone. however when they had got off the call it took almost two full minutes for us to even be acknowledge. we were then sat at a table that only had 6 chairs when i had made my reservation 16 days in advance for 11 people. our server then walks up to us and ask if we need any water as we are waiting for the rest of our party. then he returns and asks if we want to move to a 6 top table because they had a party of 8 coming and need our space we reserved and already did not have enough space for our whole party. we say no because we already don’t have enough chairs for the table we booked 16 days in advance. I am then told my reservation is correct to which i add i emailed them twice and they could have informed me if there was an issue 9 was then told “ yeah we could have done that” then we are moved to the hookah lounge which doesn’t have table set up for proper eating we were brushed off and basically told we were in the wrong for a mistake that was on there end. later on as we are eating food off our laps we see tables being pulled out for other guest as we are balancing our plates on our laps. when i ask the manager why couldn’t they have done that for us from the beginning i am told in a very rude tone “ well we’re grabbing tables from the basement” and he rudely walks away. our second server Melissa was amazing. the rest of the team was rude didn’t acknowledge us and looked at us as if we were less than. i felt belittled and embarrassed. my worst experience ever. the food was decent but not worth the attitude and arrogance of the...
