I had to take a couple days to write this review because I was pretty irritated with one of the staff members. I was there 7/3 930am. Traffic is backed up. That's to be expected, no biggie. A vehicle was parked in a stall. The way this store is set up, when their drive thru is backed up, anyone parked in the stall is blocked in until someone in the line will let them out. I began on the sidewalk, slowly working my way up. Now, the passenger of the car periodically got out of the car to assess their situation, then would get back into the car. Nobody would let them leave. Like every Dutch Bros, there are two lanes. There is a right and a left. I am in the right, so I can't help them. If that makes sense. It's the left lane people that have to give them room to back out. Since I began on the sidewalk and now I am almost to their bumper, it's been about six cars. At this point, I yell out of my window, "are you trying to get out?" She says yes. I tell her she has two options. She will either need to walk up to someone's window and ask them to let her out so she can leave, or just start backing out and she will have to push her way through. This is where my complaint comes into play.... The employee is now at my window to take my order as I finish telling her this. She is tall, long brown hair, average build. Immediately she says, "it's their own fault for parking there." She chuckles, then says, "I shouldn't have said that." BUT.. she continues with, "people park there so it's their own fault. They think that if they walk up to the window they will get their drinks faster when the lines are long but that's not even true. It actually takes longer because it takes someone away from making drinks. Sometimes we have someone scheduled to just working the window, but not very often so it's always better to just drive through. Otherwise you're going to just wait like everyone else and it's your fault if you get blocked in." She is right. She shouldn't have said anything and she shouldn't have elaborated, especially after saying, "I shouldn't have said that." Its one thing to blurt something out. We are human. However, she obviously knew that what she initially had said was rude and inappropriate, yet she made a legitimate choice at that point to continue to do it. Now that I have gotten over my irritation of her, I'm just disappointed. I expect better. Every other encounter I've had, all the employees have been fun, positive, and upbeat. If she doesn't have the personality to do it, work at...
