Orem vs Provo is a TOTALLY different experience! My hope in leaving this review is that this can help provide Einstein Bagels a customer's experience that can be considered and re-evaluated. I want you guy's company to continue to grow, your bagels hits the spot and is unmatched!!
The experience that i often find frustrating in Provo location specifically is the wait time. I come often, and each time i have renewed hope it will be better, and it still just take a long time. One day i noticed you guys were busy filling on BIG online order. So i ordered just a plain bagel with butter was all figuring that would be easier and quicker. No... i still had to wait about 15-20 minutes. It is wonderful that given the businesses near you guys, including my own work, gets bulk orders from you guys, but since that is such a great business alone, maybe considering enough staff for both. Have your 3-4 staffs for online orders, and 2-3 for customers who walks in, 1 to take the orders and the other 1-2 to fill that order. We can order and leave within 3-5 minutes like in Orem everytime. Just a suggestion that i hope can be considered. I know i'm not the only one who feels frustrated about how long orders take, i just hope you will seriously consider doing something to consider changing it so we can have a better experience, and you can improve customer satisfaction and business. Also, any reason why there are still no table and chairs since COVID19? Maybe there is a reason for it, but Orem you can sit and enjoy time with others, but not Provo anymore, still....?
Thanks for your time in considering my lengthy, honest review. I still plan to come, and hope we can start seeing improvement with such a delicious bagel...
Read moreI ordered 3 sandwiches on doordash. The Texas brisket, the santa fe, and the sunrise chorizo. they were out of brisket so the doordash reached out and we switched it to another Santa fe. Neither snta fe got the salsa that goes on it. And the chorizo sunrise had NO CHORIZO. I tried to call the store to get the chorizo remade, I wasnt even going to make a fuss about the salsa. I called 4 times. No one answered. If you like 1 star food and 1 star service, this is definitely the place for you. Prices were outrageous for what we ended up with.
Edit: I reached out to guest services on the website using the link provided by the comment from Einstein Bros on This review. I explained the situation and a week later I got an email back telling me that they cannot refund me because it was a doordash order.
I have managed multiple restaurants. It is in fact possible to refund doordash orders, lazy workers use that as an excuse because it's a slightly harder proccess. But even if they couldnt get it to work for some reason, they wouldn't offer me in store credit or to remake my food, or anything. It doesn't matter if it's a doordash order. Door dash didn't Completly screw up my meal. Einstein bros did. And they refuse to fix it.
I tried to respond to the email but they sent me an automated response saying I'd have to use the link again and file a brand new complaint, but I couldn't because I no longer have my receipt after filling it out the first time.
I'm unbelievably disappointed in...
Read moreAlthough Einstein Bros. Bagels is my favorite restaurant, I am disappointed that the Provo location is no longer safe and welcoming for families with small children. There are no low tables or chairs inside the restaurant where customers can sit to eat. There is only one high table and a bar where adult customers can stand to eat, but these are not accessible to small children or babies. Incidentally, this decision about the furniture is also cruel and discriminatory towards persons who are handicapped or elderly or who have certain medical conditions. The message that the manager is communicating through the LACK OF TABLES AND CHAIRS is that he/she does not want customers to stay in the restaurant to eat bagels, but instead just buy bagels and LEAVE ASAP. The only low tables and chairs available are outside in the patio. I tried sitting there to eat with my preschool-aged daughter and baby. There was nothing to stop my little girl from wandering away from the table towards the parking lot, Cougar Blvd., or University Avenue; I kept having to ask my daughter to come back to the table. This Einstein Bros. Bagels is a lawsuit and a death certificate waiting to happen. I used to love coming here with my daughter before the pandemic after story time at the Provo Library or on Saturdays before heading to watch the ducks at the BYU duck pond. However, the next time we want bagels, we will be heading to the Orem branch of Einstein Bros....
