Drove almost 2 hours from North Colorado Springs to visit Pueblo, we came here for a late lunch before getting back. This is the first place that Google suggested me when searching “sushi” This restaurant is located at very nice place, next to a beautiful small river and many gift shops around. They are doing good about the Covid stuffs like wearing mask, social distancing. But doesn’t look very nice inside. I had the Spicy Seafood Udon Soup, my husband had Crunch Roll and Cali Roll. The Udon tasted petty good with 3 delicious mussels in there. The sushi rolls that we had doesn’t worth the ridiculous price. $10.99 for this small roll? NO! It didn’t taste very good. They look like the rolls for the lunch $12/person at AI sushi that you can have unlimited appertizer, sushi sasimi & sushi rolls. Or like $5 sushi roll at Sushi Ring. I was thinking maybe they are at the good location so it was pricy. But NO! Look at my 2 last pictures, they were from my favorite places in downtown Springs. The delicious Crunch roll is just $7.99 and they are much bigger, like double size, 9 pieces! My 2 others favorite rolls are just $9.99 and absolutely they are great! Ain’t have no taste like the rolls at this place. We weren’t have good service as well! There were no greeting, they just concern how many people in your party.

It is extremely unprofessional and off putting for manager ( or owners) to discipline / fire employees with customers present. I just wanted some sushi. Foods fine- but I’m sitting here in the afternoon on a SATURDAY listening to a girl be berated. Really awful behavior as an employer, and seemingly toxic atmosphere. It was an emotional exchange, loud, and rude to myself and the employee. No one deserves to be embarrassed like that. I’ve Been here 5 minutes, and I want to run away before I even get my food. Do better. You can do this outside, in private, or not during hours. Even if the employee is in the wrong or needs coaching- There’s very few situations in which it’s necessary to make a scene like was just made. As a business owner myself- this is really off putting. I wouldn’t come back for this reason alone. Two stars cause food just was okay, but that’s being generous giving what I just sat through. Now im trying to eat, and the staff is gossiping about the situation. Drama. Just drama. Couldn’t even finish the food. I just left as soon as I could.

Terrible sushi. Go to sams instead save yourself time money and experience. The philadelphia roll salmon is not salmon it's something like Chilean trout which looks similiar but taste way differnent and the sushi is not done correctly (as by normal standards), very poorly executed. I will never go back or recommend to anybody. I had to spit out the so called sushi and almost puked it up at the table with my friends. Smelled of old fish, tasted worse and I completely lost my appetite. I've had better sushi for a lot less and made properly. philadelphia roll and California rolls are terrible. I would like my money back but whatever I get it. Going to fight them for that is not something I want to waste my time on. Just like Tsunami (Was great until it went into becoming a Ghost Kitchen ) this place will close down shortly. I can't believe companies try to cut cost so much that they destroy themselves. Making a profit is hard but for whatever reason this is the exact reason I rather make sushi at home and get what I paid for.

Okay the food is great and my wife and I would give it five stars for that alone, however the service was pretty bad today. The server forgot my wife’s order, (I had sushi and my wife had the salmon bento box). I was nearly finished when we had to ask when the bento box would be out and the server looked at us blankly. We asked again and she said something about it not being on the “sheet”, which I believe was a reference to the laminated order sheet commonly used in sushi restaurants. We reminded her ( and the trainee shadowing her who also heard the order) that we verbally ordered the bento box. The trainee nodded her head like she remembered the order but all that was said by the primary server was she will order it right away. No apology or offer of something while we wait. While we continued to wait still nothing and no additional table checks. I was outside with our child when the food arrived and my wife said the server apologized when she delivered it, so finally at least some effort of contrition. Later when my wife was done the server asks if we saved room for dessert - but still no solid apology or offer to make up for the mistake. I ask for the bill and after receiving it, we waited a decent while for the server to return. It also contained all charges, without any type of comp for the mistake. The server then brought some type of fruit treat which may have been delicious, we didn’t find out because of the hair on the plate. Lastly when we received the credit card slip the server offered a free kids ice cream. We are about to leave and this gesture was poorly timed and was not the right answer for the bad experience my wife and I just had for our first time in this restaurant. I hope this was a fluke because this restaurant deserves better. The food is great and the service should match. We will not...

Came here with my inlaws and first sushi place we found in pueblo right by the Riverwalk! My first thought is how expensive some of the rolls were and the food! Couldn't find any appetizers under $10!! Usually you get what you pay for but I wouldn't take anyone else here again. I was disappointed and it's hard for me to NOT like sushi. The menu was hard to navigate but The server was amazing 10/10 service. I didn't want to complain but my Boba smoothie wasn't even smooth it wasn't blended the best I still had ice chunks in there. The poke bowl had poor quality meat in there, extremely fatty tuna and salmon. I even found a whole ice cube in my poke bowl I took it out! I don't usually take the time to write any reviews other than a 5 but if you are a Sushi lover like me, this place isn't the best for high quality sushi. Sometimes the price isn't always right or worth it. They should make an AYCE menu. My family had no complaints on the Bento or Sushi rolls they ordered and I tried some of the rolls and they actually weren't that bad but for what they cost I wouldn't pay (or have someone else pay) that price again. My suggestion: make more affordable appetizers and other rolls! Again service is 5 stars and food...
