I am so angry writing this. So the main problem was my boyfriend ordered an impossible burger. He CANNOT eat meat. It came with bacon on it. They took the charge off and got him a new burger but still charged for the burger he should have gotten in the first place. We both used to work in service. When you make that big of a mistake where someone could end up sick it would have been nice to have that charge removed. No one was taking responsibility. Waitress said she doesn’t know what happened but she didn’t do it and “things happen”. I’m guessing it was a manager or something he said he doesn’t know but “things happen.” Things happen??!?! HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN SICK!!! That’s not a “things happen” that’s a HUGE mess up. I ordered an alcoholic drink, and server took my id to show the manager. She didn’t give it back I had to ASK for my id she was going to just walk away without giving it to me. The food was subpar. My honey pepper chicken tenders with Mac and cheese it barely had any cheese sauce on it, it was so dry. I’d stay FAR away from this place, no accountability or care for the fact they could have made my boyfriend extremely sick. And the guy asked him if he was allergic to pork after my boyfriend said he didn’t order bacon on an IMPOSSIBLE burger. Firstly, none of your business if he’s allergic or not. He ordered a burger for vegetarians why on earth would he want bacon on it? Just say your sorry and take it and make a new one don’t start asking if he’s allergic, what if my boyfriend said no he isn’t allergic? What difference does it make? Secondly, you still charged us for the burger you had to remake and we had to sit and wait for. A burger that could have make him SEVERELY SICK (I hope I’m explaining just how sick this would have made him, he’s accidentally had meat before and got violently sick). Dont come here. Stay far away it’s not worth the risk. Also the restaurant wasn’t even that busy....
Read moreThe server/bartender(the older grey haired guy) doesn’t write anything down. He is awful!! He should really write stuff down because he messes up every time. You really should. This is not something you’re good at. Then when the food gets to the table, it’s all wrong. We ordered the new bacon cheese fries. According to the picture and description they have reg fries, chicken chunks, bacon, cheese, and ranch. I pointed to the picture and said “I’d like that please with no ranch with an order of boneless bbq wings”. Not too difficult right? They came out with cold waffle fries, two pieces of bacon, and a spoon full of cheese right in the middle and no chicken. We asked the server where the chicken was, he said “there is two versions of that dish and thought we ordered the other one”! Didn’t even try to fix the problem or bring us some chicken. What a joke this place is!!! The manager just stood at the end of the bar and watched us eat! That’s all he ever does in all the years we’ve gone there! When the bill came, I realized we paid 15.00 for five boneless wings that were cold and old. Obviously they wanted to use up all the old food on us! They got over on us for the last time! We will never be back to Applebee’s! We don’t want anything from you guys but hopefully we can spread the word about how gross and underwhelming this place really is. I will make sure all our friends and families know as well so as to save them the time , money, and bad experience. We will recommend they go somewhere else and steer clear of that place. Even as a last resort, somewhere else(even an AM/PM cheeseburger) would be better!! Good luck and you deserve what you get if you choose to frequent this...
Read moreI’ve been to this location a handful of times and I’d say for the most part they provide an average Applebee’s experience. It has the “neighborhood bar” feel that they market themselves to have and there is normally a good amount of people in the restaurant.
The food is pretty average for what Applebee’s provides. I normally sit by the bar and most of the bartenders are friendly and timely. The alcoholic beverages are ok. Some seem to lack true flavor and high alcohol levels.
This location shares a parking lot with the mall, so technically there’s plenty of parking. I’m pretty sure the location is wheel chair accessible as well.
The worst part about this location is the curbside pick up! They need to seriously figure this operation out! It’s like they forget they offer this service and a majority of the time they don’t look for any customers parked in the allotted curbside spots. I’ve had two unpleasant “curbside to go” experiences. One in which we had to call inside in order for anyone to realize we were there. The second experience takes the cake. We again had to call the restaurant in order to create awareness of their tardiness, only to be abruptly hung up on. I had to go inside and address the issue which of course caused them to apologize profusely and offer coupons. The manager was so embarrassed she even suggested that I could use the coupon at another location if I wished, to avoid being further annoyed with them.
All in all, if you’re looking for okay food in a comfortable and relaxed environment, I’d say give them a shot. Don’t choose curbside to go! If you’re going to order, just walk in and pick it...
