The Bridge Tender Tavern strikes me as a very affordable place with indoor and outdoor seating along the river. The happy hour specials weren't too shabby. A 6oz(?) tap beer for $1, domestic bottle for $3 I think, and I wana say a $5 old fashioned. Plus, ladies drink for free on Mondays, apparently. Can't get a much better deal than that, right? They've got a decent menu with hot sandwiches, chili cheese dogs, some kinda schnitzel, wings... in the $9-16ish range. It's worth a quick pit stop if you're out n about. Check it out!

Awesome selection of beer on tap as well as beer not on tap . The staff is super friendly and are not shy to hold a conversation! The menu is small but has what a bar needs to have ,burgers, sandwiches , wings and PIZZA! My husband had a deal they had with 6 wings and fries for under 9 bucks ! I had a veggie pizza and WOW… get this … FRESH INGREDIENTS! I know right ? ! Super delicious and I took more than half of it home ! Looking forward to hanging out here more !

Very nice remodel in 2024. I ordered the Double Smash Burger. It was plenty big and absolutely delicious. The Buffalo Fries were great as well. Not overly spicy or buffalo-y. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. I'm sure the outside will be great during the Summer. Will definitely be going back.

Bridge Tender on Root River is such a cool place to hang out and grab some great food. The outdoor seating right by the water is super relaxing, and the view is hard to beat.

The smash burgers are seriously amazing—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loaded with flavor. The pizza’s just as good, with a great crust and fresh toppings.

The vibe is laid-back, the staff is super friendly, and it’s just a great spot to chill with friends or family. Definitely one of my go-to places when I want some time...

My wife and I had lunch here on Wednesday, February 26th. Our bartender/server was Jenny. She was great! She was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The bar has a very nice view of the river and I imagine that in the Summer it would be just beautiful! The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. I had the Pizza Burger and it was amazing! I’d have that again in a heart-beat. My wife had a Smash Burger and she could barely eat half. A wonderful place for a relaxing...
