This was my first time going. I’ve had this recommended to me so I was excited.
However my experience was subpar, and that’s putting it nicely. I went in and ordered 3 originals. The guy, who I’m guessing was the manager, told me it’d be 10 minutes on fresh ones. Great! No problem. I figured I’d get the best first experience. So I sat down to wait. So after they came out, they fixed some for online pickups and then the guy looked up at me and, to paraphrase, said he didn’t know my order, despite taking my order 10 minutes ago. I had to remind him, he, himself took my order. I was 1 of 3 people in the store so it’s not like it was super busy. They even served people that had come in after me and then when I walked back to the counter he said I’d have to wait another 15 minutes for fresh ones again. He offered an alternative of ones that were in the warmer. But he only had two. So I said whatever just give me those and refund the last one because I was over it at this point. He threw in some piece of blueberry cake to make up for it, but it was soggy and gross. Who knows how long it had been out for. He didn’t even seem remorseful about the whole thing and the two I did get were very dry, to no one’s surprise. So I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.
Also, I think the girl that was working there was new, but she was leaving stuff off of orders by accident. I don’t blame her at all but the manager was not quality controlling the orders. He just shrugged about it since the customer had already left. Again, just very poor management.
Lastly, they were playing uncensored, explicit music in the store too. Swearing, sexual references, and n-words. I don’t particularly care about that in general, a business can play whatever music they want. But it can be off-putting to some, I’m sure. It’s a dessert food place, not the club. I think it’s a poor use of judgment. So...
Read moreI’m highly disappointed in this place . I came here for a delivery pick up . I am a black woman and I presume because I picked up an order from a customer that large tip the manager and other associate had preconceived notions about me . They were looking at me weird and judgmental . It’s like they assumed I would not get the order there safely or I would it for myself . Black people aren’t thieves . A lot of us have our own things and even are well off financially and wouldn’t even dare to take someone else’s stuff . Black people have a moral compass despite the stereotypes and preconceived notions placed on us . It’s raining and I have on a hoody and hat I guess that means I look “suspicious” . This is so unfortunate I have been wanting to try this place out , because of convenience from my home . But , I’ll have to try another location. I’m so displeased with this behavior coming from the staff .
UPDATE: 9/29/25
To the response left from the establishment. Your response is so tone deaf and doesn’t absolve the people who acted weird today . No one black was working today and the two people that were made me uncomfortable and were seemingly watching me as if they thought I was going to run off with the order. I morally would never do anything like that . Don’t invalidate my experience. Having black workers means nothing. That’s like saying “I have black friends , but I’m not racist”. Two things can be true . There’s nothing to work out . It’s just unfortunate. I wish that didn’t...
Read moreWe typically love dining at this location and often choose to drive 40 minutes just to come here, as it has consistently met our expectations in the past. However, our recent visit was quite disappointing.
We placed an order for four Create Your Own buns with cream cheese frosting and strawberry topping. Unfortunately, we only received three, and when we brought it up, we were told the fourth was never ordered. Although we were a bit frustrated, we let it slide and simply placed an additional order for the missing bun.
When we got home and opened our order, we were surprised to find that all of the buns had banana frosting — something we definitely did not ask for. This was especially disappointing as our children do not like bananas, and as a result, we had to throw away two of the buns.
To add to the frustration, the staff member who assisted us — someone who is usually very helpful — made us feel as though we were at fault, which was quite disheartening.
We don’t usually leave complaints, but we felt it was important to share this experience. We truly hope this can be addressed so that future visits reflect the quality we’ve come to...
