I’ve ordered online and gone to pick up my order here a few times and everything I’ve had so far has been great, the service is great and the atmosphere is great. However I think I will have to mark them off my list after my last 2 in-person visits. I decided to go in person to order instead of ordering online. The nice employee took my order & I notice they wearing black latex gloves like the other employees. I proceeded to pay cash for my order placing the money in their hand with the gloves on and then giving me my change back. After waiting a few moments I notice another employee with gloves on also bring my sandwich to the front and puts it on the hot press b:c I asked for it to be toasted. That employee then goes back to the back. The employee that took my order and payment still wearing the same gloves removed my sandwich from the hot press with their hand and a spatula and placed my sandwich in a to-go box and hands me my order. I’m thinking to myself that is not sanitary, money travels all over the world handled by billions and the germs it collect I don’t think employees that handle money should be handling food also. Just...

Wonderful service! We were starving when we came into town and this was just the spot. We arrived during a busy lunch rush but were greeted right away with instructions on how to order. Their menu had plenty of options but at the same time it was not too overwhelming. You can tell everything they offer is extremely fresh by how it is displayed. I had the turkey and bacon panini. I thoroughly enjoyed the bread and the bite sized bacon pieces. Each portion size was large enough for two meals. I regret not trying the salad bar. It really caught my eye and you can tell it is very popular. They can make a salad to order quickly, nutritiously, and in a JUMBO size. While standing in line I had thoughts of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine is trying to find a BIG salad. This would have been the place! Again, the service was above and beyond. As busy as they were with happy guests, they did not take my name with my order or give me an order number. This worried me for a second but not only did the order come out quick but they kept giving me updates on it as they bused tables nearby. Bottom line: Great service, quick, delicious, economical,...

I will say that I will never order a Philly cheesesteak from here again but I’ll give it another try and order something different. They hardly put any meat, cheese, onions, & mushrooms and could only taste bread. I don’t have much faith in any places selling a Philly and closest place to a decent Philly around here seems like Jersey mikes. Better than most sandwich shops trying to make a Philly. Load that bread down with meat & cheese!! I understand cost but I would rather pay a little more money for a good ratio meat to bread sandwich. You can see from my photo that there is way more bread than meat. It was still good but just not worth the money. I did like the shoe strong fries with the seasoning and dipping sauce it came with. That was really good. I love the location and it’s a cool spot to grab lunch. They have plenty of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, soups, & salads to choose from. They also have some indoor & outdoor seating. Only other downfall is the location. It’s downtown so parking may be an issue but I found a spot on the street not far from the place & there is also...

I have been a huge fan of Manhattan Cafe since I first tried it from an Offline Perk in 2019. Their food is amazing and so affordable. I am a huge fan of the buffalo chicken wrap- don't forget the side of crack sauce, it is one of my favorite condiments ever. I love a good salad bar since they are so rare these days and this one is amazing and has so many options. I love that they make it for you and toss it up before putting it in the container. I recently took some coworkers who had never been before, and they all loved it. In 2019 they used to have Saturday hours so I wish they would add those back in. Or extend into Durham because I would be there every week. I did take off one star since when I went this week none of the employees had masks on, and there is still a mask mandate in Wake County at this time.

Our family of 4 stopped in here for lunch on a trip to Raleigh. Menu had a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches. I had the cajun chicken panini, to which I added a few veggies. H had a cheeseburger. Son had a plain cheese quesadilla which he loved. Daughter had a roast beef and cheddar which she wanted hot but I forgot to order that way, so they nicely fixed that when I remembered and it was already made. It came with lettuce, tomato and Mayo, which my daughter doesn't like so my fault that I ordered it wrong. We all had French fries and drink combos. Ff were shoestring and hot but heavily seasoned. Bill was $55 before tip. Food came out pretty quickly despite being pretty full.
