Absolute worst fast food experience I've had to date. Came in on the 4th of July and there were a total of 4 team members working at that time (around 7:40pm). Ordered 2 sundaes (one cookies and cream+one chocolate with whipped cream) and 1 shake (cookies and cream) which took nearly 10 minutes to make. Okay, I can work with that even though it wasnt busy. My order was called out, I was given 2 shakes and 1 sundae. Upon getting to the counter, my receipt was reviewed to retrieve said items and a team member noticed it wasnt correct. I completely understand it was a holiday and mistakes happen so I would've been fine with it but one of the team members stated something along the lines of "well, we'll need to charge the difference" to another team member and you could hear the incorrect item being thrown in the trash behind the counter. Fast forward, I was then given the sundae that was supposed to be part of the order but it was missing whipped cream (which was an upcharge and was paid for). I apologized and asked if they were able to add it, once again, the same team member who made the comments about uncharging for their error stated they no longer add whipped cream to sundaes and it isn't free. I once again showed my receipt to confirm that I truly did pay for it and was given a coffee cup half full of whipped cream which wasn't too big of a deal as my kids were still going to eat it anyway. Biggest issue during this was the lack of customer service / hospitality and quality assurance. My order was done via kiosk and there were several issues with it. I likely won't be returning to any Bakers in the future based on how things were handled, the commentary and someone insinuating I'm trying to get something for free when I was really just trying to get some ice cream to enjoy for the night like I've done in...

My Son is a student at a Cal State university that is currently giving its students and staff 20% discount on their Bakers purchases. When attempting to get the %20 discount my son was told they don’t give discounts. When speaking with the manager she said they don't give discounts, they only give discounts with a physical coupon on special occasions. We asked her if she could check her system, and her system did in fact say they have a spirit discount for his school. Also when asking a previous worker to check the system he said they don’t have a system to check. The manager then said she can’t give the discount because she doesn’t have a code to enter. But this Rancho location had straight up bad food. My vegetarian meat was burnt to a crisp - it looked like hard, dark pellets - gross. I order vegetarian meat at the Upland and Riverside locations alllll the time and it's great, but not here. The chips were also pretty stale and the guacamole tasted old (it had that few days old, been sitting in the fridge & about to go bad taste).
